The Luxurious Magazine Story

We are a privately owned lifestyle news provider based upon the principles of honesty and integrity.

The magazine was initially founded in 2004 under the name Exclusive Magazine. In 2010, while living in Malaysia, its founders, Paul and Natasha Godbold (above), decided to register the intellectual property for Luxurious Magazine®, and the magazine you know today was born.


Our Approach

Luxurious Magazine® has a policy of avoiding salacious publishing. Far too many media outlets try to shock, offend, titillate, and scare while spreading inaccurate and often fabricated news, cleverly crafting negativity as they know it sells.

You will find none of the above among the tens of thousands of editorial pieces in the online magazine. Our primary mission is simply to educate and inspire. In keeping with this, all of the features we compile are provided in an easy-to-digest, family-friendly, honest and ethical format without using ‘clickbait headings’; what you read in the title accurately describes the editorial content.

Another aspect that sets us apart from others operating in the global media space is that we do not charge for publishing news or editorial features or impose any conditions on those accessing our content.


The Print Edition

We did publish a quarterly print edition, which was discontinued in 2017. Paul and Natasha Godbold put ethics ahead of profit and were uncomfortable seeing companies paying large sums for one or two pieces of paper inside a magazine that someone might or might not see.

This led them to adopt a “not-for-profit” ethos, publishing news only via the magazine’s online version.

We take your privacy very seriously and use an encrypted connection. The privacy-focused search engine DuckDuckGo rates Luxurious Magazine as B+. The company’s CEO, Gabriel Weinberg, has stated: “Hardly any sites get an A”.
