The 21st edition of the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival will begin on Thursday, 29th April. This year’s event is packed with more than sixty experiences, and for the first time, whisky fans wherever they are in the world will be able to join in with celebrating Speyside’s finest.
Over the past twelve months, most businesses have had to embrace technology in a way they never envisaged. In the first half of 2020, there seemed to be a neverending stream of events, shows and exhibition cancellations., fortunately, this trend seems to have well and truly reversed.
One year later, the landscape here in the UK is looking far rosier. However, safety is still the keyword. This is why many events and festivals are adopting virtual technology, and that’s what this year’s Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival (also known as the world’s largest whisky festival) will be doing.
Over the past few months, we’ve been fortunate in experiencing some online exhibitions and festivals and we must say, they’ve been great fun. The Spirit of Speyside festival will undoubtedly be no different.
And with just under a week to go, whisky fans are being called on to snap up the last remaining tickets for what will be an outstanding celebration.
What’s on offer?
This year’s festival will once again showcase the region’s finest Scotch Malts and will be jam-packed full of virtual events.
The 2021 edition of the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival will be featuring musical whisky pairings, behind the scenes distillery tours, cocktail masterclasses and conversations with industry legends. In fact, ticket holders will have more than sixty events to choose from over the four-day festival!
The online interactive festival is designed to appeal to everyone, including those who are just beginning their whisky journey to Single Malt aficionados. The festival will be hosted on the Airmeet virtual platform and will allow people to come together from all over the world to celebrate all things Scotch.

How to attend the 2021 Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival
Festival passes which provide access to all events are still available to purchase via the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival website.
In addition to the extensive programme of events on offer, guests will also have the opportunity to socialise virtually in the festival’s lounge area and can tune in to additional Q&A sessions with representatives from Speyside’s iconic distilleries in their respective ‘booths’.
