Joe Macari launched his state-of-the-art flagship showroom in London last week with an impressive £60 million collection of cars, spanning from some of the world’s most sought-after classics to more recent models.
They included the 250 California Spyder SWB and a Maserati MC12, which were joined by the beautiful Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Huayra supercars. Joe is known for his involvement in motor racing and, in the classic restoration business, is regarded as one of the world’s leading figures, having restored five Ferrari California Spyders in the last three years, as well as more modest models. His client lists boasts the world of Formula One, from drivers to team bosses and also includes heads of industry and key players in the world of music and sport.
Joe Macari has undertaken a 12 month fit out to create a ‘car heaven’ in the capital – it’s a petrol head’s fantasy, surrounded by some the most desirable motor cars in the world. The venue includes a 24 square metre video wall so that clients can view Grand Prix and other sporting events, whilst in the showroom.
Classic cars are a great investment and have proven to be a beautiful piece of art that is a thrill to drive, whilst increasing in value. Joe is renowned for his expertise and black book, which enables him to source some of the rarest and finest cars in the world for his clients. In late 2012, Joe supplied a client a Ferrari 250 PF cabriolet series 1 for £2.8 million – today it is worth in excess of £4.2 million.
