High in the mountains forming the Dolomites, nestled in a picturesque village, is the enchanting Adler Lodge Ritten—a luxury retreat where you can bathe in the serenity of nature and indulge in wellness.
Adler is German for Eagle, hence the company mantra: Let your soul fly free. When you enter the beautiful wooden main building, your soul frees up and stress ebbs away. The beautifully costumed staff adorned in South Tyrolian dress meet every requirement and set the standard for your stay.
Although Adler Lodge Ritten is a hotel, it is unlike others, as guests are encouraged to use the facilities like they are at home.
All-inclusive packages allow you to use the bar any time of the day or night, relax in the panoramic lounge and while away the night without disturbing other guests. Food is always available if you need to augment your appetite outside of the three primary dining times, and staff are always on duty to aid you.
Adler Lodge Ritten is an Au Natural resort, and the communal spa facilities allow no clothes, apart from towels provided at each location, although these do not have to be worn. To allow you privacy, all the accommodation bathrooms have a bio sauna ideal for soothing and healing.
In a utopian location, with Michelin Star quality cookery, attentive staff and premium facilities, a stay at Adler Lodge Ritten is an indulgence. But the indulgence is for something worthwhile, and that is you.

Dining Options
The formal dining room’s glorious location is on the main building’s upper level, providing stunning views at breakfast and dinner, with full-height windows framing the landscape.
The South Tyrol region of Italy is influenced by Austrian and Italian cultures, which shows in much of the menu—the Head chef sources from local suppliers and producers, creating sublime dishes based on seasonal ingredients.
The gastronomy is an award-winning standard with delicacies on the menu every night and daily specials to choose from.
At dinner, you generally have four courses, which do not include the Pastry Chef’s creations for dessert. These delights follow your choice of Pre-starter, starter, pasta and then main; you can pick and choose what you wish. You may want a larger starter and pasta without a main, or on the off chance you can’t find what you fancy, a meal can be created for you.
The staff are happy to help with suggestions and can tell you in detail what dishes consist of and what wine to pair with each dish.
Breakfast is a mix of buffet choices, hot dishes available to take from the Pass and made-to-order requests, such as Eggs Royale or speciality omelettes. Freshly baked breads and pastries, local cheeses and meats are delightful. You could gratify yourself on these alone, but you would be sacrificing yourself from all the other gems accessible.
Everything apart from A La Carte Lunch meals is covered in your package, and you only worry about choosing what to eat and drink.
The Spa
The treatment area, pool, relaxation room and steam room are situated on the lowest level of the main building, as is the gym. The gym has the latest resistance machines, cardio workouts and free weights. You can also follow the trail outside to the Yoga/relaxation room and the two saunas. Inside these havens of physical and mental restoration, you escape reality and embrace the spirit of the eagle, letting your soul fly free.
The Spa has numerous treatments to elevate stress, replenish skin, and provide holistic and natural recovery. Adler Lodge Ritten has treatment packages tailored to your requirements, which you can discuss before attending. The staff are friendly, professional and supremely experienced in their fields of expertise. All products used are natural, ethically sourced and produced.
A large heated infinity pool lies adjacent to the indoor pool and is accessed and exited via an automatic set of doors you swim through.
Adler believes in physical and mental well-being and provides the staff, facilities and surroundings to achieve this.
Things to do
Adler encourages outdoor activity and will be one of the main reasons for staying at Adler Lodge Ritten. In all seasons, there are pursuits you can get involved in; the staff are happy to advise on what the activities involve. Choose from their A La carte activity menu or plan your own; it is an incredible location to breathe in fresh air and benefit from nature, both flora and fauna.
Hiking is popular with guests, and the area provides the perfect topography for walkers. Adler has local guides who can take you on tailored walks based on your ability and requirements. In winter, when snow is on the ground, you can snowshoe and burn those calories.
Meditative walks in the woods around the estate are a daily early morning occurrence and are booked quickly due to their popularity. The walks are conducted in silence, allowing participants to meditate on the sounds within the woods. The trails through the trees are enchanting, and you are captivated by the moment.
Yoga is another popular activity led by an Instructor; the hour-long sessions occur in the yoga studio. You can also use the studio independently to stretch, dance, or however you wish.
Electric bikes are available and complimentary, enabling you to explore the estate or venture out to discover the Renon plateau.
You can join guided tours, which take place several times during the week. There is plenty to see with sunny forest and meadow paths, local Alpine farms are there to discover, and the beauty of electric bikes is that you can climb higher into the mountains and more expansive vistas appear.
In South Tyrol, the mountains are called The Burning Dolomites because the sun lights them with an orange-red glow like they are on fire. It is spectacular to see and one of the memories of a lifetime you will take away after a heavenly stay at Adler Lodge Ritten. Part of your soul will remain flying high in the Dolomites and beckon you back.
