Aman Resorts enthusiasts will heave a collective sigh of relief knowing that their luxurious, privacy-focused properties will be re-opening. Ong Chin Huat details the status and scheduled opening dates for each resort.
Known for their sybaritic and super luxurious properties, Aman Resorts have recently announced that they are beginning a phased reopening after some of their properties were closed due to the worldwide pandemic.
While some properties such as Aman Kyoto and Amanoi in Vietnam remained open throughout the lockdown period, others such as Amangalla in Sri Langka and Amantaka in Laos were closed.
However, with the gradual reopening of countries and their economies for business as well as foreign travel, Aman Resorts have planned the reopening of their resorts in accordance with guidelines from the World Health Organisation as well as the government authorities of the respective locations.
Founded in 1988 with the vision of creating an ultimate escape for the world-weary traveller who wanted to be cocooned in the ultimate luxury, Aman offers guests the warm hospitality of a private home. With 32 unique properties in 20 locales around the world, eight more stunning Aman resorts are planned for the future.
Going back to its roots as a pioneer of ultra-luxurious and privacy-focused hideaway resorts, the DNA of Aman has always been one where the wellbeing and wishes of their guests take first priority.
From the high altitudes of Bhutan to the depths of the Raja Ampat archipelago, Aman has redefined the concept of hospitality for the lucky few who are privileged to experience it.
