BMF – The Aesthetics People, has launched a range of Exclusive Face and Body Treatments with minimal downtime. Ong Chin Huat tries the non-invasive procedure and, afterwards, takes the opportunity to chat with the company’s CEO, Amy Quek.
Formerly known as Bella Skin Care and Marie France Bodyline – two of the best-known brands in the beauty industry – the amalgam of these two brands back in 2017 into BMF has recently entered a new chapter with a rebranded tagline as well as the debut of a new state-of-the-art beauty treatment called CFU Ultima, a non-invasive procedure for both the face and body exclusive to BMF for the year.
The new tagline, The Aesthetics People, BMF, is positioned as a Beauty Gym which offers cutting-edge facial and body treatments rooted in science. It’s a one-stop beauty stop where every step and procedure is digitised from advanced diagnostic, consultation and treatment processes.
With extensive experience in the beauty salon business, BMF has been a leader in Southeast Asia for over 40 years, helping beautiful people maintain their smooth and firm complexions and ideal physiques.
Led by CEO Amy Quek, a veteran in the beauty business, BMF’s core belief is that aesthetic care does not need to involve injections or other invasive methods to achieve visible and positive results. With a well-trained and dedicated team of aestheticians providing the requisite expertise, BMF is poised to seal its stellar reputation as a trusted and professional beauty brand.
Constantly evolving to stay ahead of the curve and keeping up to date with the latest developments in beauty technology, BMF recently held a get-together at one of its seven branches in Kuala Lumpur attended by a group of celebrities, customers, Influencers, key opinion leaders and industry experts to experience the latest advancement in beauty care and aesthetics and the launch of CFU Ultima.
Luxurious Magazine’s Ong Chin Huat grabbed the opportunity to speak with Amy Quek about the newly revamped BMF and the virtues of the latest procedure, the CFU Ultima.
Luxurious Magazine: What was the impetus for the rebranding of BMF?
Amy Quek: Bella Marie France has embraced a new chapter that cements our leading position in the professional beauty services industry in Malaysia.
Our evolution to BMF – The Aesthetics People marks our belief that Bella Marie France is ready to stand on its own merit with its acronym, and our new direction and positioning reinforces our focus on using the latest technologies and tools to bring out our clients’ best aesthetic potential.
LM: What do you think makes BMF stand out from its competitors?
Amy: BMF is the place where technology gives women the freedom to pursue a curated and precise rejuvenation regime rooted in science. Every step is digitised for advanced diagnostic, consultation, and treatment processes. BMF offers tech-enabled personalised face and body treatments that meet every beauty needs. It is a feel-good place where modern women can conduct their beauty rituals comfortably.
Our offering gives a more holistic solution to ensure beauty glow from the inside out, combining skincare treatments with transformational weight management. All under one roof, our team consists of a professional team, including skin care specialists, weight management experts, certified nutritionists, and experienced therapists.
LM: What are the new trends you see emerging in the beauty industry?
Amy: We have continuously evolved to be ahead of the curve and stay relevant to our clients, especially those who prefer high-energy treatments that are backed by science, technology and nutrition to help them achieve their aesthetic goals in a safe, effective manner.
LM: What are the most popular or best-selling face and body treatments at BMF, and why do you think they are so popular?
Amy: Currently, the most popular treatment now at BMF is CFU Ultima. It adopts an innovative application method that provides an increased level of precision, comfort and speed while achieving optimal results without any downtime or damage to your skin. This translates to faster results, fewer sessions and more savings.
It’s a non-invasive procedure for the face and body that is the latest iteration of the High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) treatments and is exclusive to BMF for one year. This treatment features a phenomenal breakthrough in beauty technology. Utilising the power of ultrasound energy through an innovative application method.
Using a centreless transducer with a selective thermal effect, a more targeted emission of ultrasound energy is produced, thereby enhancing performance without damaging the skin’s surface. The area of the skin exposed to the ultrasound energy is smaller, which results in reduced discomfort.
The Easyzoom and Easyflow application enables it to be customised with different transducers to modify the depth, power and mode of the ultrasound emission to achieve the desired results while rapid ultrasound energy emission speeds up the procedure considerably, reducing treatment time and discomfort.
I should add there is an Active Cooling Emission Technology that circulates within the machine guaranteeing its safety and efficiency, which helps prevents thermal damage to the skin and increases the overall safety of this procedure.
LM: What are the visible results of the CFU Ultima on the face and body?
Amy: This cutting-edge treatment targets droopy eyelids, saggy skin, enlarged pores, wrinkles, smile lines, excess fat and jowls. It does this by stimulating collagen production to firm, rejuvenate and plump up the skin, lifting saggy skin for a V-shaped face, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improving the appearance of acne scars.
Similarly, for the body, the CFU Ultima targets the upper arms, bra line, tummy, hips, inner and outer thighs and calves by stimulating collagen in those problem areas, reducing localised fat under the skin for more shapely contours with zero downtime and minimal discomfort and long-lasting results.
