From the 5th of July, Battersea Power Station’s historic Coaling Jetty will play host to ArcadeX, a pop-up that seeks to bring best-in-class global food and drink from its food halls directly to the riverside.

The ultimate summer hotspot from Arcade, the group behind smash burger pioneers Manna and South American-inspired grill Solis, ArcadeX will be offering street food specials, cold wine and beer on tap, fresh cocktails and live DJs, all set on the river with one of London’s most iconic buildings as the backdrop.

The line-up will feature a mix of well-loved classics and specials from cult favourite brands, including:

  • BAO: Burnt Chilli Daikon BAO with soy-pickled chilli, Taiwanese Fried Chicken with BAO hot sauce, and house-made Bubble Tea
  • Manna: Classic Smash with American cheese, Vegan Burger with Symplicity patty, potato bun and triple shallots, and Waffle Fries with signature seasoning
  • Solis: Empanadas filled with Minced Beef Picadillo and Creamy Potato + Cheese and a choice of hot bocadillos with a new vegetarian special, Fried Aubergine & Raclette Cheese, from Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng, the chef-partners behind TĀ TĀ Eatery
  • Sushi Kamon: Grilled Eel Roll with sweet BBQ sauce, Okonomiyaki with aonori mayonnaise and red pickled ginger, and Red Ginger + Prawn Tempura Udon with wakame seaweed.

Three fully stocked bars will be serving cold beers, wines and summer spritzers, with an exclusive menu of premium tequila cocktails, which have been created in partnership with Casamigos.

The jetty has a fully retractable roof, so anything up to 350 guests can enjoy ArcadeX, whatever the weather, making it the perfect spot for large groups, summer parties and sundowners.

“We are incredibly excited to be launching ArcadeX this summer,” says Cokey Sulkin, Arcade’s COO. “The Coaling Jetty offers a spectacular view of the iconic Battersea Power Station and is a truly unique venue on the River Thames. By bringing Arcade’s signature brands here, we believe we will create an outdoor dining experience quite unlike anything else in London.”

Sam Cotton, Head of Asset Management at Battersea Power Station, said, “We have a very exciting summer lined up at Battersea Power Station with the return of The Battersea Games and London’s most exciting sports and games events. The ArcadeX pop-up will be a brilliant addition to the summer offering, providing the ideal spot for visitors to indulge in delicious food and drink whilst enjoying stunning views across the River Thames and the historic Power Station.”

ArcadeX will be open from midday – 11 pm from Thursday – Sunday. From 30th July, ArcadeX will be open six days a week (Tuesday – Sunday) for the summer months.
