The Art & Antiques Fair Olympia, London’s longest-running and most respected vetted art and antiques fair, will return for a 48th year in June.
The event runs from Thursday 18 until Sunday 28, with a Private Preview on Wednesday, 17 June, in association with their Charity Partner, Maggie’s.
It is expected to attract art and antiques enthusiasts from across the globe looking for that inspirational, one-of-a-kind piece. One hundred thirty leading art galleries and antique dealers from the UK and beyond will be showcasing specially selected pieces for the fair. Many objects for sale will have been kept back just for this event.
There will be an inspirational variety of furniture, art, sculpture, design and decorative objects on sale, alongside jewellery, stunning textiles, glass and ceramics, clocks and silver – ranging from BC to the present day.
Dealers with decades of experience will be on hand to offer top tips and advice on buying original works – especially when being purchased for the first time.
Independent arts advisor and public exhibitions expert Vanessa Curry will lead highlight tours of the Fair – taking in the most interesting and stand-out pieces that will intrigue visitors.
Popular with interior designers, collectors and homeowners, the fair lets visitors buy with complete confidence as every piece is vetted by a team of independent experts to ensure authenticity.
The Art & Antiques Fair Olympia takes place alongside the renowned House & Garden Festival, which includes Spirit of Summer Fair, home to hundreds of carefully selected exhibitors and boutique brands selling an eclectic array of handpicked items that reflect skilled craftsmanship and good quality for every room in your house and contemporary gifts and accessories to inspire.
Mary Claire Boyd, Fair Director of The Art & Antiques Fair Olympia, says: “This is the 48th year that the fair has returned to Olympia, and we are hugely proud of its heritage and success.
“Thousands of people travel miles and miles to attend each year, safe in the knowledge that they’re going to be inspired by the amazing eclecticism of pieces our dealers will unveil – many for the first time and kept especially for this fair.
“We are excited to open for a new decade and can’t wait to welcome a new generation of art and antiques lovers into the fray along with our regular returnees.”
