Badrutt’s Palace will reopen its doors on Friday 3rd July ready for the summer season in St. Moritz.
Badrutt’s Palace has weathered many storms over its 124-years and has used its recent closure to adapt once more. The team has been tirelessly refining the hotel to protect the health & safety of guests and staff while ensuring its much-loved magic remains.
Over the past few months, the team has been implementing a list of health & safety measures including thermal guest and employee screening, in-room branded PPE, stringent cleaning, ventilation & sanitizing protocols and newly introduced distanced dining options.
La Diala, Le Grand Hall & Terrace, Pizzeria Heuboden and the Renaissance Bar will all operate as usual with reduced occupancy and sufficient space between tables with further alfresco dining available in the Palace grounds and on the Chesa Veglia summer terrace.
Round-the-clock room service will now include an expanded selection of Palace favourites with all additional fees waived. Breakfast will now be served a la carte in Le Grand Hall and in Le Relais.
Ensuring the hotel retains its sought-after home-from-home feel, the Palace will still be able to tailor every element of guest stays from customized in-room amenities and adjoining rooms to providing office space for remote working.
Longer stay guests will now be able to arrange fixed times for housekeeping, restaurant reservations and the option to pre-book preferred tables, exclusive use of the tennis court and other sporting facilities, complimentary use of a local mobile phone with key hotel numbers saved, fixed spa or hairdresser appointments in Palace Wellness and the option to tailor menus for the duration of their stay.
Families can benefit from 50% off inter-connecting rooms with complimentary laundry and ice cream for children included over the course of their stay as part of the hotel’s new family package, too. St. Moritz airport also allows direct private jet travel to/from the hotel avoiding crowded airport hubs.
The Spa and Sporting Facilities
Palace Wellness is one of the biggest and most extensive spas in the Alps. The expert team of spa therapists will be equipped with PPE to ensure extra safety, each treatment room will be deep cleaned between guests, and the two-metre social distancing guidelines will be followed throughout the wellness zones.
Those craving outdoor adventures can explore the magnificent surrounds via bike or boat with the option to set sail on the iconic Palace sailboat on the lake opposite the hotel. Here guests can also try their hand at Stand-Up Paddle Boarding or can venture to nearby Lake Staz for a refreshing dip.
The hotel’s newly introduced beginner’s golf clinic package, led by Ilija Djurdjevic – one of Europe’s foremost Long Drive World Series champions – and the professional instructors at the Engadin Golf Club, will also run throughout the summer to include golf lessons, complimentary use of the mountain railways and up to seven nights’ accommodation.
To book: Summer 2020 rates start from CHF 525 on a room only basis (based on double occupancy). All summer season bookings will benefit from the hotel’s flexible booking policy (allowing cancellations up to 72 hours prior to arrival).
