Created in 2003 the Swift Trawler rethought the concept of the traditional Trawler. Beneteau gave careful consideration to life on board and style, and provided extremely high-performing answers to the key question of autonomy and energy effectiveness. After 10 years and the amazing success of four models, from 34 to 52 feet, Beneteau is about to show the Swift Trawler 50 next autumn.
Resulting from a renewed collaboration between the Beneteau motorboat design office, the architect, Michel Joubert and the designer Pierre Frutschi, this new Swift Trawler retains the features that were the success of its predecessors, while offering some amazing innovations.
Modernized silhouette that emphasizes a very fluid flybridge line, hull specifically designed for the choice of IPS engine (2 IPS 600), the Swift Trawler 50 also marks a significant development in the adaptation to the various ways of sailing and living on board. From the couple to the large family, all types of crews will find the proposed layout and attractive.
When cruising, the choice of replacing the shaft line propulsion by IPS pods increases the boat’s manoeuvrability considerably. Long-distance sailors will appreciate the modularity of the ‘dining’ space, located beside the driving station, which can be converted into a watch bunk. To the fore, the anchorage area, raised by 45 cm, turns out to be both practical and highly ergonomic. To the rear, to make it easier to get the dinghy into the sea, the Beneteau Swift Trawler 50 is equipped with a hydraulic bathing platform on option. Also an innovation, are the high bulwarks surrounding the deck, providing greater safety during your trips.
Life on board the new Beneteau Swift Trawler 50 is increasingly spacious and airy. Designed pragmatically and intelligently, its total storage space of 8 m3 makes it possible to consider long autonomy periods confidently. You will appreciate being able to choose between three beautiful double cabins (6 berths) or two double cabins together with an office and an extra bed (5 berths). As for the U-shaped galley, it has been given a serving hatch to the fly.
