Bermuda’s vibrant community and stunning landscapes makes it an ideal playground for adventurers, food lovers, and fans of culture. In 2025, the archipelago will be hosting some one-of-a-kind events and experiences, which we will be looking at in closer detail below.

At the beginning of every year, Bermuda hosts The Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge, which lasts three days from 17th -19th January. The running event consists of races of different lengths around the archipelago, offering something for every level of athlete.

The Chubb Challenge has a packed schedule filled with live entertainment and free food, and, most importantly, it supports Bermuda-based charities by offering opportunities to raise funds before the race. This year, Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge is partnering with the Bermuda Diabetes Association, Bermuda SPCA, and St John Ambulance.

Experience Bermuda’s culinary delights during Bermuda Restaurant Week, a celebration of the island’s bold flavours and rich culture. From 16th January to 16th February, treat your taste buds to prix-fixe menus crafted by Bermuda’s top chefs, featuring the freshest local ingredients like spiny lobster, Bermuda fish chowder, and sweet honey buns.

Whether dining al fresco overlooking turquoise waters or enjoying the cosy ambience of a historic inn, this event offers something for every palate. Pair each meal with island-inspired cocktails or local brews for a truly unforgettable taste of Bermuda.

This year, sports lovers can sign up for the Bermuda Triple Challenge—a three-day adrenaline-packed event from March 14th to 16th. Contestants can flex their skills with 75+ different obstacles across three—to ten-kilometre races.

During Easter, Bermuda holds the unique tradition of kite flying on Good Friday: it is an annual gathering where people craft traditional kites with tissue paper, wood, and string.

Families and friends gather at their favourite beaches, parks or community centres of the island to send their kite creations to the sky while celebrating the holiday

An avidly awaited ritual to beckon in spring, this tradition originally stemmed from Sunday school teachers who used a kite to demonstrate the ascension of Jesus to heaven.

Finally, in August, unleash your creativity at Bermuda’s highly anticipated Sandcastle Making Competition, where the island’s stunning beaches transform into open-air galleries of imagination and artistry. This one-of-a-kind event invites participants of all ages to craft awe-inspiring sand sculptures, from intricate designs to larger-than-life creations.

Drawing crowds from near and far, the competition offers an unforgettable day of family-friendly fun. Whether sculpting or spectating, this event captures the spirit of Bermuda’s vibrant beach culture and promises a picture-perfect celebration by the sea.
