Bespoke Hotels, the UK’s leading independent hotel group, is starting the new year with a major announcement. With a collection of nearly 90 independent hotels already under its belt, the group is set to bolster its portfolio with a series of exciting development projects over the next 12 months, including new openings and refurbishments.
While specific details on these projects will be unveiled throughout the year, Bespoke Hotels has confirmed the following plans:
- Hotel Gotham Newcastle and Hotel Gotham Bristol are set to open their doors in winter 2024/25.
- The debut of the Bailiffgate Hotel in Alnwick is scheduled for the summer of 2024.
- Bespoke Hotels will fully take over Lumley Castle Hotel in County Durham, which will be given a soft refurbishment in the coming months.
- Biarritz Hôtel in Jersey (below) is collaborating with Bespoke Hotels for its season opening in April 2024, complete with a comprehensive refurbishment program the following winter.
- Construction will commence at Noss on Dart Marina, Dartmouth, with the hotel opening its doors in 2025.
Commenting on these exciting developments, Thomas Greenall, the Chief Executive Officer of Bespoke Hotels, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This is a very exciting time for everyone at Bespoke Hotels, and we look forward to a significant year ahead in elevating the brand to new heights.
Whether it be new openings, acquisitions or refurbishments, 2024 will be an eventful year for the Bespoke Hotels family and its loyal guests as we look to build on our status as the UK’s largest independent hotel group – which ranges from specialist golfing hotels to award-winning spa resorts and chic city centre properties.”
He continued, “There will be a constant update on developments throughout the next 12 months, so this really is a ‘watch this space’ situation – we can’t wait to open the doors to new venues, new guests, and new possibilities.”
