Legendary boxer and five times World Heavyweight Champion, Evander Holyfield last week popped into one of Ducati’s premier dealerships, Ducati Manchester, during his trip to the UK.
Holyfield, whose long and distinguished career consists of 44 wins and 29 knockouts, is a big Ducati fan and was eager to visit the Manchester store while in the area to check out the latest Ducati range.
Holyfield has expressed an interest in gaining his motorcycle licence through the Ducati Rider Training school and has set his sights on one day owning and riding a Diavel. Although he did not purchase a Diavel on the day he did not leave empty handed as he left with some new Ducati clothing to wear during his stay in the UK.
Nicknamed ‘The Real Deal’, the 49-year-old American is in the UK to try and negotiate a fight with one of the Klitschko brothers in October before his 50th Birthday, in addition to promoting the launch of the first ‘Holyfields’ restaurant in Heswall, Wirral and raising awareness of Kizuna Peace Trust, a charity that is working tirelessly to rid the streets of guns and knives.
Ducati Manchester is located on the A56 off Junction 7 off the M60.
