My final stop during my luxury journey through Budapest was to discover the fashionable Brody House Group which was founded by Will Clothier and Peter Grundberg. The Brody House Group is a collection of cool, private members boutique luxury lifestyle arthouse properties. Within the impressive Brody House Group portfolio is the award-winning Brody House which is a dashing boutique hotel.
Brody Apartments are chic serviced apartments designed for short stays, Brody Studios are a private arts club with international affiliations and host a number of exclusive parties and events. The ArtYard is a print studio and art gallery and The Writer’s Villa is a glamorous accommodation which can be used for stays for families and groups of friends looking for that deluxe private experience.
Brody Apartments are Ideally located in downtown Budapest and is a short walk from Andrassy Avenue and other cultural hotspots. There is a host of neoclassical 1 – 3 bedroom apartments on offer, fully furnished in the Brody House latest and sophisticated style.
I was staying in a large, bright and airy one bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor of the building which was calm, relaxing and facing the quiet courtyard. Decorated to a high standard together with shabby chic soft furnishings, high ceilings, lots of natural daylight, original parquet flooring and a double bed built on a raised mezzanine level. A spacious open plan combined lounge with large TV, free Wi-Fi and a seated dining area gave that home away from home feeling.
There’s also a smart fully fitted open plan kitchen which consisted of a fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and a number of utensils that covered all my cooking requirements. A roomy shower area with fresh towels, washing machine, iron and ironing board completed the facilities on offer within this dapper apartment. Breakfast at the apartment was so convenient and enjoyable too with the staff ensuring that it was delivered to my apartment the night before ready for the morning which was another lovely touch.
Overall the staff at Brody House and Brody Apartments were exemplary, warm and very friendly too which added to my sterling experience. I am already looking forward to revisiting Budapest and sampling further properties within the Brody House Group.
All in all, Budapest offers so much when it comes to luxury and is a brilliant destination that welcomes you with open arms. It is ideal for weekend city breaks or longer holidays and definitely appeals to the single traveller, a couple or a family seeking that superior affluent experience.
I am also looking forward to Sziget Festival 2017 and the preparations for the 25th Anniversary are already underway. This will be without doubt Sziget’s biggest festival to date and I eagerly await the opportunity to renew my Szitizenship to this remarkable festival.
