Barely a week after celebrating the launch of Darwin 86 Alexa, Cantiere delle Marche has announced another success. This time, the boatbuilder has successfully launched the one-off 43 Project B2.

Although Project B2 is fully customised, she still contains all the features and characteristics you would expect from a purebred explorer yacht.

Francesco Paszkowski was responsible for her exterior lines, and with the help of his team, he has produced an elegant, hugely capable boat that will win over all who see her.

In addition, the design team has been able to skillfully balance comfortable interior living spaces with high build quality and technical reliability, giving those on board the confidence to sail head-on into some of the world’s most remote destinations.

Vasco Buonpensiere, the co-founder and CEO of Cantiere delle Marche (CdM), said, “Our intense activity, on all fronts, is under everybody’s eye. At CdM, we are unwaveringly dedicated to delivering the highest quality and exceptional service to our clients. Our clientele consists of some of the most experienced and well-informed individuals in the yachting community, and we strive to exceed their expectations.”

“This one-off project is perfectly aligned with CdM’s approach to explorer yachting. It seamlessly integrates and interprets in an original form the finest elements from CdM’s ranges of semi-custom explorer yachts, Darwin Class, Flexplorer, RJ, and Deep Blue. This project leverages our extensive expertise and the invaluable insights of the Owners, a beautiful family who entrusted us to bring their vision of a new explorer yacht to life, tailored precisely to their specifications.”

Paszkowski Design has paid particular attention to the exterior deck area, which allows guests to relax in a number of outdoor spots with maximum privacy, creating a feeling of openness and uninterrupted spaces. Their work on the boat’s interiors exudes refined elegance, combining sophistication with an inviting yet unpretentious atmosphere.

Thanks to a wide body configuration from midship forward, the main deck sports four large suites, almost identical in size. Two more guest cabins are located on the Lower deck amidship. Eight crew members benefit from large, well-appointed quarters on the Lower deck forward. The Captain’s cabin is located on the Upper deck next to the wheelhouse.

Tenders and jet skis are stored on the Upper deck forward, while a chase boat is available for the Owners’ and guests’ use for coastal exploration and comfortable transfers from the yacht to the shore and vice versa.

To further enhance guests’ comfort, a large beach club with sauna and hammam is located at the far end of the Lower deck, next to a large swim platform, where a day toilet is located.

With a robust and overengineered displacement steel hull and light aluminium superstructure, Project B2 has a displacement of around 440t. Hydro Tec designed her naval architecture, which ensures excellent seakeeping and frugal fuel consumption.

Twin Caterpillar C32 Acert delivering 746kW each and 60000-litre fuel tanks allow a top speed of 14 knots and a range above 5000nm at 10 knots; this means she can sail far and wide without needing regular refuelling.
