Martin Williams, founder, of destination restaurant brand M, was joined by celebrity friends at a fundraising dinner to celebrate the launch of his new restaurant, M Victoria Street in London last week and Luxurious Magazine were delighted to be part of the celebration.
During the course of the evening, guests including Will Poulter, Donna Air, Jeremy Irvine, Lady Mary Charteris and Daisy de Villeneuve, helped Martin and his guests raise funds and awareness for HIV and sexual health charity, Terrence Higgins Trust.
The dress code and theme of the night was a hint of red and Revenant star Will Poulter took this in his stride and arrived confidently in an Arsenal shirt tucked into a smart blue suit alongside his brother and sister. Donna, who arrived without her boyfriend James Middleton chose simple touches of red in a two-tone lace top worn with cropped trousers and T-bar sandals and mingled with friends Lady Mary Charteris and SB.TV entrepreneur Jamal Edwards.
Guests were treated to a signature four-course menu curated for the evening by Executive Chef Michael Reid. Dishes included Ike Jime King Fish Sashimi served with Ponzu & Dill, and Blackmore Wagyu Kaurabi, served with mushroom, horseradish, onion and truffle. Ike Jime King Fish is exclusive to M Victoria Street in London and the Wagyu served is the highest grade available anywhere in the capital. A fabulous and creative menu that went down rather well with all the guests in attendance on the night.
After dinner, guests danced the night away at a party held in M DEN, the decadent private members club at M Victoria Street, where celebrity DJ to the stars DJ Spoony provided a magical soundtrack of old and new classics for the celebration which kept guests dancing until the early hours of the morning.
Football legend Sol Campbell arrived with his luxury interior designer wife Fiona Barrett and was reunited with ex-England team-mate and M investor Andrew Cole.
Martin Williams commented: “I would like to thank everyone who attended and helped to celebrate the launch of my second restaurant, M Victoria Street. Together, we helped to raise £20,000 for Terrence Higgins Trust. I look forward to welcoming everyone back in the near future.”
M Victoria Street is a beautiful dining experience coupled with it’s stunning interior design and celebrity panache, it is a superb edition to the thriving fine dining London restaurant landscape.
