The 7th edition of Chantilly Arts et Elegance Richard Mille, which took place on Sunday, 15 September, lived up to all its promises on the grounds of the Château de Chantilly. Since its creation in 2014, Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille has gone from strength to strength, now ranking among the most prestigious international Concours d’élégance, both in terms of its widespread success and the wealth of automobiles entered in the various competitions.

This year, no fewer than 28,000 spectators flocked to the foot of the Château de Chantilly to admire the various cars in the running, including the 10 concept cars that entered the Concours d’Elegance. Similarly, all eyes were riveted on the Le Nôtre lawns and the almost 100 cars from all over the world taking part in the Concours d’État The Most Beautiful Cars in the World, all vying for victory in their respective classes and for one of the two supreme Best of Show titles awarded according to their era.

The three competitions were judged by a jury of some fifty prestigious personalities whose eclectic mix of cultures and origins ensured their quality.

The presence of 40 clubs, bringing together 900 cars exhibited on the estate, was also an integral part of the event and contributed to the success of the huge Garden Party, which the public was invited to attend.

Ten cars were judged at this seventh edition of the Concours d’Elegance. In the image of the Concours d’Elegance of the 1920s, these extraordinary gatherings where exceptional cars of the era, often personalised by famous coachbuilders, were exhibited in the company of elegant women dressed in the latest fashions by the great names of French fashion, the concept cars paraded in the company of their regular models.

“For my first edition of Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille, I was deeply impressed by the incredible quality and diversity of the vehicles on display, as well as by the strong presence of the manufacturers. This event represents a unique opportunity for them to showcase their heritage while unveiling the concepts that are shaping the future.

“I am honoured to be taking over from Patrick Peter, who created this exceptionally elegant event. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this day, from the partners to the organisers, from the judges to the visitors, who gave this event all its magic and refinement. I would especially like to thank our partner Richard Mille, without whom none of this would be possible,”Marc Ouayoun, Managing Director of Peter Auto.
