Crafted from the finest Tequilana Weber Blue agaves located in Mexico, Clase Azul’s company makes superior Tequila. You will appreciate the exceptional taste and beautiful hand-painted bottle for a special present to yourself or a loved one.
Unique & beautifully handcrafted bottles encase the spirit, which is Clase 100% authentic in every way. In the small Mexican town of Santa Maria Canchesda, over 100 artisans dedicate their time to creating each bottle one at a time. Clase Azul uses only 100% organic plants in its production of quality Tequila.
The agaves are cooked in old-fashioned brick ovens for 72 hours. Once cooked, the pinas are crushed to extract the juices, mixed with a special proprietary yeast. The fermentation process occurs, and finally, the alcohol is distilled twice with careful attention to ensure the highest quality spirit.
Los Altos, or the highlands, is where the town of Jesus Maria is located in Jalisco. – which results in a unique flavour profile. Once the Tequila is distilled, it is aged for 8 months in hand-selected oak barrels. This process results in a superb, smooth taste that exceeds expectations with each sip.

The taste test
I’m what many would class as a ‘common or garden’ Brit. I do enjoy a drink from time to time, but Tequila is not a drink I’ve had an abundance of experience with. As such, it would be a bit of a stretch to classify me as a Tequila aficionado. That being said, I am quite sure I can tell a good one from a bad one.
On my palate, I found the Clase Azul Reposado Tequila to be smooth in the mouth and throat, minus the burning sensation you often get from a low-grade Tequila. This is a high-quality spirit, and I don’t feel it should be consumed in shots; this is a drink that deserves to be sipped, savoured and reserved for very special occasions.
