Photographer Simone Zeffiro and Painter Jessica Newell Exhibit at the homonymous Jessica’s Gallery Cleveland
On the occasion of the twelfth Sparx City Hop Cleveland, a yearly art event that attract people from all the USA East Countries and includes 70 art galleries, is going to officially open the exhibition called “Coalesce”.
“Coalesce” explores the infinite techniques artists employ to combine natural elements. Simone Zeffiro and Jessica Newell merge mediums, colors and styles while taking the viewer on a provocative tour of the natural world through their artworks.
Simone Zeffiro, Fine Art Photographer and member of Luxurious Magazine Team, unveils the wonderful and unexpected world of landscape photography with a new unpublished series of infrared long exposure photographs taken during the last 18 months. “It is a pleasure for me to expose my artworks in partnership with such a talented and well-known painter as Jessica Newell. Since the beginning of our friendship and cooperation we immediately discovered a lot of common points of view and the attraction to particular landscapes and colors”.
Jessica Newell, well-known USA painter, art curator and owner of Jessica’s Gallery has long been fascinated with the sky and environment. For this exhibition, she selected a series of paintings that is a perfect marriage of colors and feelings.
She said, “I can remember being a kid, sitting by the lake and staring at the sky, imagining what it must feel like to fly, identifying shapes in the clouds and feeling free of the confines of my suburban neighborhood. The sky evokes a cross section of human emotion, we feel small in its massiveness, anxious at what might come next, calmed in its beauty, in awe of its colors, fearful of its power. The works in Coalesce attempt to capture these different states and their impact on us. It is my hope the the viewer feel all of the emotions and possibilities I felt as a kid, as I stared up to the heavens for hours, dreaming”.
Luxurious Magazine selected a sneak peak of what attendees will have the pleasure to find during the two-month’s exhibition.
