Côte at Home’s newly launched home dining menu, which has been designed by Gordon Ramsay’s former executive chef, Steve Allen, is an ideal way to make a memorable Mother’s Day, and it is a treat that can be enjoyed in the comfort of yours or Mum’s home.
Chef Gordon Ramsay is one of the best-known names in the culinary world, so when you learn that Steve Allen, his former executive chef, is the mastermind behind Côte At Home’s New Home Dining Menu for Mother’s Day, it’s clear that palates will be in for a treat.
As you would expect, the highly respected chef has carefully chosen the finest ingredients to help showcase some classic French cuisine.
Beef Wellington is a notoriously difficult dish to cook at home, but it is a crowd-pleaser once ready. Steve and his team have created a delicious version of the classic dish as part of a sumptuous three-course meal, which can be ready to eat in less than 90 minutes.
Alternatively, if Mum prefers something different, Steve’s three-course menu also offers duck confit as the main course, with both options focusing on fresh seasonal ingredients.
Cote’s Executive Chef Steve Allen has worked at Michelin-starred restaurants, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and Petrus, and he opened Gordon Ramsay at Claridges, which garnered a Michelin star within its first year. During Steve’s time at Claridge’s, he went from Junior Sous Chef to Head Chef and then Executive Chef and worked on all of Gordon Ramsay’s books, From ‘Secrets’ to ‘World Kitchen’.
The three-course Menu
The three-course Mother’s Day special starts with Pont-l’Évêque cheese with pickled carrots and cucumber, almond romesco dip, sourdough baguette & truffle saucisson.
The Beef Wellington main course with peppercorn sauce is served alongside confit new potatoes, rosemary roasted root vegetables and braised red cabbage. All you have to do is pop it in the oven, and while you wait, why not treat your mum to a chilled bottle of Laurent-Perrier La Cuveé Champagne (£49.95) or Rosé Champagne (£69.95), both great gift additions to the home delivery special service.
Concluding the three-course meal is a special dessert of chocolate roulade with pistachio ganache and cherry compote. This three-course meal for four people costs £114.95.
As highlighted earlier, if you prefer a different main course, Côte At Home has the same box but with Duck Confit and Orange Jus as an alternative to the Wellington, and this is for two and four people (£54.95/£99.95). The two-person option also comes with 2x Crème Caramel instead of the roulade.
To make Mother’s Day even more special, try the Weekend French Breakfast Box at £39.95 with a selection of continental treats and English-style breakfast. This Côte At Home favourite is perfect for those who have lunch plans and fancy breakfast in bed or a lazy brunch!
The Mother’s Day home cooking treats are available now to pre-order for delivery from 6th – 9th March. Delivery times are between 7 am and 9 pm; if you’re planning to enjoy your delivery for Mother’s Day itself, Côte recommends ordering for delivery on the 9th of March.

Steve said, “We’re delighted to have launched our Mother’s Day collection with one of my favourite dishes, Beef Wellington, which uses fillet steak from our own butchery, wrapped in flaky puff pastry and served alongside our decadent peppercorn sauce. It’s easy to cook and means you have more time on the big day to spend with your loved ones.”
Côte at Home’s French wines, champagnes and beers offer the perfect accompaniment to its selection of meals. Each food box is delivered chilled, ready to eat, freeze or bake.
Deliveries are from Wednesday to Saturday (excluding the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, The Scilly Isles and the Channel Islands).
