De Vere Cranage Estate, part of De Vere’s collection of historic mansion house estates, located in Cheshire, in collaboration with the UNESCO World Heritage site and visitor attraction, Jodrell Bank, has today unveiled a new series of intergalactic-themed wedding packages.
Couples can now get married in the breathtaking 144-capacity curved Space Dome. Couples are invited to exchange vows amidst a selection of immersive space-themed backgrounds, including moons, planets, nebulas, and astronomical constellations. This one-of-a-kind experience offers the opportunity to embark on a celestial journey and say “I do” in the virtual world of outer space.
Following the celestial ceremony, guests will gather for a Drinks reception hosted by De Vere Cranage Estate in the majestic surroundings of the 76-meter diameter first light pavilion.
The remarkable circular building, crafted from concrete and steel, pays homage to astronomical archaeological structures like ancient stone circles, providing an unparalleled setting for post-ceremony celebrations.
Guests will continue their celebrations at De Vere Cranage Estate for their evening reception, where they will enjoy a three-course wedding breakfast, speeches, and dancing in the early hours.
The wedding party can stay in De Vere Cranage Estate’s newly refurbished bedrooms and make use of the leisure facilities including the health club, swimming pool and gym, and enjoy breakfast the next morning in the Tempus Restaurant.
Richard Morrell, General Manager at De Vere Cranage Estate, said, “Collaborating with Jodrell Bank means we can truly add a different dimension to our couple’s wedding day. The ceremonies taking place in the Space Dome means we’ve created a one-of-kind wedding package in the region. We look forward to working with our couples to create a truly unforgettable day.”
Wedding packages with ceremonies and drinks reception at Jodrell Bank and evening reception at De Vere Cranage Estate start from £10,400.
