DS Automobiles has a strong connection with the French fashion industry, using its design influences and talent within their vehicles. The brand continues this bond announcing its support of the Paris Fashion Week.
The French company loves the Avant-Garde reflecting this in their cars throughout their history. The latest DS models have direct influence from French Fashion houses and this connection will continue with the next generation of cars.
DS is an official partner to Paris Fashion Week and shows its support this year with a showcase of the emerging talent within the fashion industry. The brand has revealed a stunning photoshoot featuring their E-Tense electric models alongside new talented designers.
This event has been labelled ”Un Autre Regard” and celebrates the first virtual promotion of Men’s fashion collections for Spring/Summer 2021. DS will be posting on its Instagram account throughout the Paris Fashion week dates of 9th July to the 13th July.
A Different Perspective or Un Autre Regard has always been the ethos of DS Automobiles’ own designers, who take cues from architecture, fashion, poetry and nature. The collaboration will come together through beautiful photography.
Emerging brands, BLUE MARBLE, Boramy Viguier, EGONlab, Germanier et Mansour Martin have been identified by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. Down the Seine from the Palais de Tokyo where the creative designers usually show off new modes, Paul Franco, the chosen Photographer took over the Château de Bizy to present his vision for Paris Fashion Week 2020.
Five images were composed at the castle’s courtyard and gardens with DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE, DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4×4 300 and DS 9 E-TENSE.
Franco and the five fashion designers alongside creatives from DS automobiles collaborated in the event where they shared the beauty of the products, and it was apparently fun although you wouldn’t guess this from the model’s expressions in the images.
DS Automobiles was created in 2015 as the luxury division of Citroen, and in the five years, they regularly combine with experts from other companies to build their beautiful cars. Artisans in crafts and specialist areas link with the DS Design Studio Paris to create gorgeous interiors. All models built since 2015 have had input from French specialist suppliers.
