Claude Monet: The Truth of Nature at Denver Art Museum until 2 February 2020
Until 2 February 2020, visitors can catch the world premiere of Claude Monet: The Truth of Nature in Denver. The exhibition features more than 120 paintings that span the artist’s entire career and highlights Monet’s renowned relationship with nature and his response to the varied and distinct places in which he worked.
New Snoga and Ice Fishing experiences at Vista Verde Dude and Guest Ranch
New for winter 2019, Vista Verde will debut Snoga. This new experience sees the ranch’s yoga instructor guide guests on snowshoes for a short hike out to the rustic Homestead cabin, where a cosy fire and yoga mats are ready to go for a restorative yoga class. The ranch will also offer guided ice fishing in a heated shelter where guests can either drill their own fishing hole or observe the professionals.
Gravity Haus opening in Breckenridge, December 2019
Gravity Haus will debut in December 2019 as a ski-in/ski-out boutique property in Breckenridge. Designed to activate a community of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts year-round, Gravity Haus will offer ongoing insider experiences ranging from outdoor excursions to social programming. Onsite amenities at Gravity Haus include backcountry experiences led by experts, a super trampoline, farm-to-cup Unravel coffee, nourishing dining at Cabin Juice, Japanese-inspired onsen and more.
Discover Denver’s craft beer scene with The Crawford Hotel
This winter, the Crawford Hotel at Denver Union Station is entrenching itself into the Mile High City’s booming craft beer scene. The Denver Beer Experience local craft beers in custom Belgian glasses with a keepsake engraved wood bottle opener, two curated beer flights at Denver Union Station’s Terminal Bar, a carefully selected map of The Crawford’s favourite Denver breweries for a self-guided brewery tour and complimentary Tesla drop-off and pick-up at the breweries.
New lifts at Crested Butte, Winter Park and Steamboat
Both Crested Butte and Winter Park ski areas have added new lifts this season while Steamboat Resort unveiled a brand new gondola that has increased capacity and takes guests up the mountain almost 38% faster than the previous lift. Estes Park Rock Climbing offers new Snowshoe tour with Elkins Distillery
Estes Park Rock Climbing in partnership with the Elkins Distillery is offering an exclusive new package this winter that includes a four-hour morning snowshoe tour in the picturesque backcountry of Rocky Mountain National Park. After the snowshoe tour, a catered lunch is provided, served with some of Colorado’s finest whisky.
Sam’s Restaurant opens at Aspen Snowmass
Aspen Snowmass has a new Italian restaurant located at 10,620 feet at the top of Sam’s Knob Mountain. The new restaurant, aptly named Sam’s, offers a modern Italian concept where diners can enjoy sweeping views of the Elk Mountains and sophisticated, lively dining experience.
