This March, Hollywood’s favourite chef, Wolfgang Puck, invites 45 Park Lane’s executive chef, Elliott Grover, to cook three signature British dishes to be served at the annual Governors Ball in Los Angeles.
Joining Wolfgang during his 30th year cooking at the biggest night in cinema, Elliott’s dishes will include roast beef with a wagyu roasted Yorkshire pudding, creamed horseradish and watercress, a prawn cocktail roll with beluga caviar and Marie Rose sauce, as well as native lobster ‘fish and chips’ with a spicy tartare sauce and triple cooked chips.
In London, 45 Park Lane will be celebrating the star-studded moment by bringing Hollywood to its guests with a very special art exhibition by celebrity photographer Andy Gotts.
The exclusive exhibition named “And the winner is…” presents a unique celebration of the film award season. Running from January 23 to May 16, 2024, Gotts will invite art and film enthusiasts to explore his curated selection of portraits, capturing the essence of actors who have garnered acclaim from prestigious awards in cinema.
Elliott’s menu will be available to experience in London exclusively at 45 Park Lane from January 23 to April 1, 2024, served in BAR 45 alongside a specially crafted cocktail created by bar manager Enrico Perri. Aptly named ‘And The Winner Is…’, this cocktail is made up of Campari infused with pickled red pepper, sweet Vermouth, clementine liquor infused with Kaffir lime leaves and topped with Champagne.
Elliott Grover joined 45 Park Lane in 2022 as executive chef, overseeing the culinary direction of the hotel, including Wolfgang Puck’s famed restaurant CUT at 45 Park Lane.
Speaking on the Governors Ball dishes, Elliott said, “I am incredibly honoured to be bringing classic British dishes to Hollywood for a second year with Wolfgang, especially celebrating his 30th year cooking for the awards. And to present the dishes here at 45 Park Lane from January alongside Andy’s incredible photography will be sure to bring a taste of LA to London.”
Dishes served at BAR 45 are priced individually.
