Ermanno Scervino opens a standalone store in Ibiza Town – located in the island’s Port, the fashionable heart of the island. The opening marks a strengthening in the brand’s foothold in Spain, adding to their pre-existing Madrid store.
As Toni Scervino, CEO of the Group says “Ibiza is part of an international expansion plan scheduled by September, which will see the portfolio extend to Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Taipei (Taiwan) and Krasnodar (Russia), bringing the number of standalone boutiques in the world to 38”.
“Our focus on new markets, where Made in Italy is synonymous with values such as quality, beauty and luxury, is proving a successful decision. This year we expect to close with an increase of 3% on turnover, largely as a result of exports amounting to 65%”.
The Group closed 2011 with a turnover of 93 million Euro and an EBITDA of 20%. Faithful to the design concept shared by all the Ermanno Scervino Maison stores, the new Ibiza boutique showcases a harmonious balance between crafted elements and a fashionable, modern and contemporary style, with the inclusion of elements perfectly styled the stunning new location.
Vinyl screens and armchairs in the collection colours, coated textiles and furnishing elements in black smoked glass combine to create an area conceived as an open space, which is visible from the outside through three large windows complete with screens showing videos of the women’s runways and a lightbox with photos from the advertising campaign.
