Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane has installed a life-size snow globe installation in its lobby of the luxury Mayfair to celebrate the festive period. Guests stepping into the hotel will find themselves in a magical winter wonderland that emulates the snowy trees of the mountains, along with a delicious hot chocolate pop-up on Fridays.
Named “Let it Snow with Love”, the Christmas decorations nod to the brand’s commitment to showing genuine love and care to its guests and people every day. Designed in partnership with British artist, florist and sculptor Ruth Davis of All For Love London, the installation also celebrates the city of London through the red colour palette and notable details.
Ruth says, “The inspiration behind this year’s design came from the playfulness and fun of the famous Christmas snow globes. We wanted to create a larger-than-life, 1.5m globe as the central lobby feature, surrounded by snow-flocked trees and iconic London red decorations and ornaments – festive post boxes, phone boxes, red buses for that London touch – essential for the location of the hotel on the capital’s famous Park Lane. All For Love handmade over 100 mini snow globes filled with tiny festive, snow-filled London scenes.”
Further adding to the winter wonderland and snowy mountain experience, on Fridays from 3 pm-6 pm, the hotel will host a hot chocolate pop-up outside the hotel with special recipes from Four Seasons winter resorts around the world, including:
