Sales at Gardens of Eden, one of Phuket’s leading luxury real estate projects are skyrocketing as discerning global buyers return to the island for the high-season, drawn by the surge in luxury lifestyle services offered.
On its first anniversary, Gardens of Eden reported sales of THB 3.2 billion (approx. USD 92.6 million) over its first two phases or 13,700 square meters of luxury residential space.
Russia is leading demand, followed by Singapore, which is emerging as the number one market in Asia for luxury real estate. Buyers are looking for value for money and a better lifestyle for their families, and they can find this courtesy of the island’s 13 international schools and top-end medical care from Bangkok Hospital Phuket and the soon-to-open Bumrungrad Hospital.
Speaking at the first-anniversary event, Ravi Chandran, Amal Group’s Corporate Affairs Advisor, commented, “What began just a year ago has blossomed into something truly extraordinary. Gardens of Eden, as a brand, has not only taken root but has flourished, capturing the imagination of those seeking a unique concept of luxury living surrounded by beauty and tranquillity. Our vision extends beyond just luxury; it’s about creating an integrated community where safety and thoughtful planning foster a sense of belonging and peace of mind.”
Located opposite Bangtao Beach and about a 20-minute drive from Phuket International Airport, Gardens of Eden has a unique focus on green living. Seventy per cent of its total 122,000 square metres of space is dedicated to parks, lakes, and gardens, with the remaining 30% developed for residences.
Roman Gorin, Managing Director of Gardens of Eden, explained, “If we want to talk about luxury, we cannot dedicate 70% of the land to buildings; it needs to be the other way around. Before, Phuket’s luxury segment was mostly villas. However, we saw a shift around three or four years ago when people started to appreciate what it means to live in a community. It’s this sense of community that underpins Phuket’s emergence as a luxury real estate market. Access to international schools, hospitals, retail outlets, fine dining, golf courses and marinas is part of what makes Phuket exceptional.”
“Quality is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we’ve partnered with top global brands like SCHUCO, Cesar, Otazen, Kuppersbusch, Villeroy & Boch, Daikin, and Coem to ensure the highest standards in design, functionality, and elegance. This is our vision for Eden: to create a community within a beautiful environment – a development of the highest quality and, importantly, close to nature (and the beach) – a perfect place to bring up families or buy, invest, rest and relax,” he added.
This luxury community is stretching across the island, with Michelin-starred restaurants opening and a new level of retail entering the market. Central Phuket Floresta recently opened a luxury floor featuring brands such as Prada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Rolex, as high-end international consumers become a part of the new luxury ecosystem on the island.
Wilaiporn Pitimanaaree, Senior Vice President of Central Pattana, said, “The demand has been very strong for this floor and we will look to further increase space for elite luxury brands to meet the demand which is increasing in the future.”
The high-end lifestyle is also positively impacting sectors such as luxury vehicles. Praiya Laparojkit, Mercedes Benz Phuket’s Executive Director, revealed that his company has witnessed a strong 20% increase in sales of premium luxury models to international buyers over the last two years.
Yana Chuvalova, (above left) Director of Sales and Marketing at Gardens of Eden, reported that buyers are already starting to see strong returns on their investments.
“For those who bought at the pre-sales stage, the price has already increased by 36% in Eden Residences and 28% in Park Residences. So well done to those who believed in us! Now is a good time to buy! We expect prices to be increased by up to 46% in Eden Residences in the next two years and up to 63% in Park Residences in three years before commissions,” she concluded.
Following the ground-breaking for Eden Residences in May 2024, construction work has started on Park Residences, and both projects are running on schedule. For more information and to discover your new luxury lifestyle in Phuket, please visit eden-phuket.com.
