German Kitchen Design, which is dedicated to bringing contemporary European style and quality into Thai homes, is inviting homeowners to experience its bespoke kitchen designs and imported products first-hand following the opening of its new state-of-the-art showroom in Bangkok.
Founded by two skilled hospitality professionals, Nicolas Reschke and Lutz Mueller, German Kitchen Design works with nobilia, Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer, to provide fully-planned concepts that can be customised to the client’s exact specifications. The kitchens are then made in Germany and precisely installed in the home by a team of experts.
With a focus on smart design, superior craftsmanship and sustainability, and enhanced by delivery times faster than most of its competitors, this innovative company will help Thai and expatriate residents create the kitchen of their dreams.
The new showroom is located in River City Bangkok, the boutique retail precinct on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Staffed by a multi-lingual team of experts, this bright and inviting showroom covers more than 170 square metres and showcases a range of hand-selected kitchens, allowing guests to experience the look and feel of nobilia’s products first-hand.
The showroom will transport guests on a three-stage journey to achieve their ultimate kitchen. The Inspiration stage allows customers to browse the showroom and view the company’s full range of chic and sophisticated products.
Following this, the Consultation process lets the client share their ideas with German Kitchen Design’s team of experts and be guided through all the options, from the overall layout to the most intricate details such as fixtures and fittings, over 70 colour schemes and material combinations, and even electrical appliances. Finally, the Realisation stage will see the fully bespoke kitchen crafted in Germany, transported to Thailand and expertly installed in the customer’s home.
German Kitchen Design harnesses the latest technology and 3-D planning software to bring every concept to life. Clients use virtual reality (VR) headsets to visualise exactly how their kitchen will look in their home – whether it is an urban apartment, a suburban home or an upcountry villa. This state-of-the-art solution will inspire imagination, create a connection and ensure satisfaction.
What sets German Kitchen Design apart is its commitment to quality and customer service.
From cars to kitchens, German products have a global reputation for functionality, reliability and refinement. This is key in a kitchen; as the home’s social hub, every element needs to be strong enough to withstand the pressures of daily life. The robust, rigorously tested products, superior engineering, and the “Made in Germany” quality seal offer these guarantees. There’s also a warranty of 15 years on all kitchens.
“We are delighted to open our showroom at River City Bangkok. The role of the kitchen is changing in Thailand; it is no longer simply a place to prepare food; it has become a focal point of our lives. By blending design, technology and sustainable products, German Kitchen Design can help every customer – from couples and families to property developers and interior designers – create kitchens as a centre-piece of the home,” said Patee Sarasin, Director of German Kitchen Design.
“German Kitchen Design is perfectly positioned to cater for this trend. With people seeking more flexible lifestyles and choosing to work from home, Thai homeowners are seeking stylish spaces to suit their specific needs. It is no exaggeration to say that our products can improve people’s lives, and we are very excited about meeting our customers face-to-face and helping them to achieve their ultimate kitchen,” added Nicolas Reschke, Managing Director and Founder of German Kitchen Design.
The German Kitchen Designs showroom is located on the second floor of River City Bangkok, adjacent to the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers on Charoen Krung Road. It is accessible by car with indoor parking or by boat at Si Phaya pier – including a direct shuttle service from ICONSIAM.
