The much anticipated G/FORE autumn launch party went off with a bang, hosted at one of Urban Golf’s central London locations in Soho
The event, that Luxurious Magazine attended, saw the launch of an exciting new range of golf apparel from G/FORE, a first for the premium golf brand.
More than 150 people passed through the doors to get a first look at the new collection which features a variety of carefully considered polos and sweaters in a selection of luxury fabrics. On the guestlist were representatives from some of the most influential UK Golf and Lifestyle titles, top Golf Clubs and TRENDYGOLF.com customers.
Leading online golf retailer, TRENDYGOLF.com, offered guests the chance to be the first to pre-order the newest releases from G/FORE, including a variety of new shoe and glove designs available later this month.
G/FORE’s president, Nicole Castrogiovanni, said: “This is the perfect time for us to launch a new apparel line. Following the success of our gloves and shoes, it was a clear progression and an exciting direction in which to take the brand.
“We are taking a real fashion perspective, using fabrics that you see in top luxury fashion brands and fusing them with technical properties. We have developed fabrics that have the right hand, drape, texture, weight, and unique look for G/FORE.
“The launch event was a huge success and the collection was extremely well received, which we are thrilled about. The UK is an important market for us so it’s great to hear such positive feedback and we hope we will carry on our success as we continue to expand”.
The new clothing range is just the next step in the G/FORE story, which was established initially to provide golfers with high-quality, brightly coloured golf gloves. The clothing line offers a modern interpretation of a classic style in custom-developed, hybrid-blend fabrics which provide the ultimate in both performance and luxury.
Cotton-pique knits and lightweight jumpers feature in greys, pinks and greens, with a bold camouflage print making a statement. Special features include all-natural yarns; moisture-wicking and fast-drying properties engineered for breathability; built-in UV sun protection; resistance to shrinkage and fading; and four-way stretch to allow essential freedom of movement.
American golf equipment start-up Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG) flew in for the G/FORE launch as a guest of the brand. Recognised for their performance at the highest level, the clubs feature premium alloys and patented technology. The clubs retail for around £4,000 per set and are currently being played on the PGA Tour by Ryan Moore, and on the Champions Tour by Rocco Mediate.
