Heli USA Airways is proud to announce the introduction of the newest and most advanced helicopter tour fleet in Western USA, with new customised Agusta Westland 119KE helicopters.
The new internal layout of the helicopter provides enough space for the largest and most comfortable seats, so cramped conditions are a thing of the past. Designed and built in the UK and Italy, these aircraft are truly in a class of their own. Reaching speeds of 175 miles per hour they are the fastest and most powerful helicopters in the sky.For the first time ever, a customised narration and music system is available costing $150,000 per aircraft.
Using iPhone® technology the system offers 10 different foreign languages, surround sound music, private communication between individual parties, Bose® noise attenuating headsets and GPS activated tour narration. The aircraft also takes safety to a higher level, exceeding all other helicopters in its class, continuing Heli USA Airways long held primary commitment to the safety of passengers.
Included are dual hydraulic and fuel systems and it’s the first tour helicopter equipped with an autopilot system. Comments Nigel Turner, President/CEO of Heli USA Airways “Being the first to introduce these amazing helicopters to the industry is as important to me as being the first to ever fly helicopter tours into the Grand Canyon, which I did back in 1997. They are truly one-step beyond anything else on offer, and guarantee our customers the best-possible flight seeing experience they could wish for.”
Grand Canyon Chariot of Fire Helicopter Flight from $379 per person. Experience the new helicopters with an extensive flight below the rim of the Grand Canyon. Guests are collected from their hotels and taken to McCarran Airport where they will board the helicopter for a trip of a lifetime. Highlights include the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Canyon, throughout the flight, the pilot delivers a running commentary to explain the sights unfolding beneath, such as Eagle Rock, Guano Point and Thunderbird Mountain.
