On Monday, 18 November, Home House, London’s most iconic private members’ club, officially kicked off the festive season with the grand switch-on of its Christmas lights and the unveiling of special festive menus across the House.
This year, the club has undergone a magical transformation into a mystical forest, featuring rich tones, whimsical woodland decorations, twinkling fairy lights, playful garlands, towering 12ft Christmas trees, carol singers, and roaring fires at every turn.
The festive season at Home House runs through Sunday, 5 January, and offers an enchanting array of experiences. From indulgent feasts and spirited Christmas parties to serene overnight stays, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Non-members are also welcome to soak up the festive atmosphere of this magnificent Grade-II listed building by visiting with a member or booking an overnight stay in one of the 23 unique bedrooms or suites.
Festive Set Menu
Members and guests can celebrate the season with a delightful three-course festive lunch or dinner in The Restaurant. They can enjoy Christmas classics like Norfolk Bronze Turkey with all the trimmings, Christmas pudding with brandy custard, and homemade mince pies.
The festive set menu is available for groups of up to 10 guests, starting at £65 per person. It is also available for up to 18 guests in The Garden Room, subject to availability.
Private Dining and Christmas Parties
For those searching for the perfect location for a private dinner or Christmas party, members and non-members can enjoy a sumptuous festive feast in one of the four opulent private dining rooms, which can accommodate up to 70 guests.
Home House has crafted a range of exquisite private dining menus starting from £55 per person (vegetarian) and £65 (regular), featuring a seasonal three-course lunch or dinner with all the trimmings.
For larger groups of up to 180 guests, Home House offers an exclusive canapé and bowl food reception in the enchanting surroundings of a Grade-II listed private party room.
The evening begins with a champagne and canapé reception, followed by an elegant bowl of food for dinner, dessert canapés, and a night of dancing under the chandeliers. Please note that the minimum spend applies.
Hidden in the basement, The Vaults is Home House’s intimate underground club room. It is available to hire for up to 60 guests for late-night Christmas celebrations, dancing, and karaoke singalongs until 3 a.m.
With a private entrance, the decadently designed bar and lounge features two adjoining karaoke rooms equipped with state-of-the-art sound systems. The minimum spend for hiring The Vaults is £2,500.
Festive Afternoon Tea
This Christmas, Home House’s traditional Afternoon Tea takes on a festive twist. Members and guests can indulge in delicate finger sandwiches, scrumptious Christmas cakes, and freshly baked scones in the stunning surroundings of the Drawing Rooms.
The Festive Afternoon Tea is available from £45 per person to £55 per person with a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne every Friday, 20 December to Monday, 30th, excluding Christmas Day.
Christmas Day Lunch
Christmas Day brings an indulgent three-course lunch featuring a choice of Roast Organic Turkey, Rhug Estate Venison Loin, or Poached Halibut Fillet, all served with festive trimmings, Christmas crackers, and mince pies. Guests will also enjoy carols from the Choristers of St George’s Church and a special visit from Father Christmas.
The Christmas Day Lunch is available on Saturday, 25 December, for groups of up to 10 in The Restaurant, priced at £130 per person, including a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne, and £55 for children under 12 years with a mocktail.
Christmas Sleepovers – 24th, 25th and 26th December
For a truly special festive experience, both members and non-members can book a stay in one of the House’s enchanting bedrooms or suites from 24–26 December. Christmas Choir
Every Tuesday leading up to Christmas, members and guests can enjoy the harmonious sounds of the Christmas choir.
Throughout December, the choir will roam through Houses 19 and 20, spreading festive cheer as they perform seasonal classics in the magical lead-up to Christmas.
The Winter Garden Lounge
Home House’s popular garden has once again been transformed into the ‘Arabian Nights’-inspired Winter Garden Lounge, transporting members and guests on a fantastical journey with opulent furnishings, low daybed seating, and exotic objets d’art.
During the colder months, visitors can enjoy cosy dining alongside winter-warming drinks, including exquisite hot chocolates, signature cocktails, and Home House’s secret mulled wine recipe, served from the Samovar.
New Year’s Eve at Home House: La Grande Soirée Burlesque
Always a highlight of the annual calendar, Home House’s legendary New Year’s Eve celebration returns with the glamour of 1920s Paris in ‘La Grande Soirée Burlesque.’
Members and guests can ring in the new year with a night of decadence, divine dining, sparkling cocktails, and captivating live entertainment.
