WestK’s FunFest ‘Ephemeral’ Installation – 22nd March – 7th April 2024
This spring, the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority presents the ‘Ephemeral’ installation as part of the WestK FunFest. The installation combines light, soundscapes, and giant, translucent rainbow-hued bubbles.
Created by award-winning Sydney-based design studio Atelier Sisu, the thought-provoking, immersive public art installation aims to bring people together in fleeting moments of connection and community through a playful shared experience.
Art@Harbour 2024: teamLab’s ‘Continuous’ Exhibition – 25th March – 2nd June 2024
Located at Tamar Park and the Central and Western District Promenade, the teamLab: ‘Continuous’ exhibition symbolises the perseverance of life. Hundreds of colourful luminous installations across the lawns of Tamar Park and the Victoria Harbour will continuously change colours and sounds as visitors interact with them.
The structures will also continue to stand even if they are pushed over by waves, blown by the wind, or pushed by people. Additionally, the adorned trees in the park will also respond with shifting coloured lights and sounds.
Art Central – 28th – 31st March 2024
After four years, Art Central will be returning to Hong Kong’s Central Harbourfront, showcasing the next generation of talent from Asia’s most innovative galleries alongside distinguished artists from around the world.
With a unique identity in the Hong Kong visual arts landscape, Art Central provides the best in today’s global contemporary art practice. This year, the exhibition will include a new sector, “Neo”, which will feature cutting-edge or undiscovered artists in a small but highly visible space.
