IT London, the sophisticated Mediterranean restaurant and lounge in Mayfair, will launch their new Autumnal menu on the 18th of October. Two-star Michelin chef Nino Di Costanzo carefully crafted the new menu, which combines much-loved favourites with enticing new dishes.
Set across two floors in a former Mayfair art gallery, IT London boasts a beautiful bar and lounge on arrival, with art-lined teal walls and scalloped-back velvet chairs that will entice guests to enjoy an innovative cocktail or two. The restaurant offers a dynamic fusion of fine dining coupled with daily music sets from International DJs, which should ensure an evening like no other.
As diners feed their way through to the restaurant, they will see roaring pizza ovens and an open kitchen featuring a charcoal grill where chefs char their catch of the day and craft their signature thin-crusted pizzas to order. Each pizza is fermented naturally for more than 48 hours, giving them a lightness and crunch.
The pizza’s come with a variety of ingredients, from a simple Marinara to Burrata & Red Prawn or Black Truffle, the ideal accompaniment to cocktails at the bar or opening to a luxurious dinner.
The à la carte menu features a Raw Fish Market with Gambero Rosso and delicately fresh Carpaccio di Branzino e Caviale (Sea Bass Carpaccio and Caviar), alongside Starters of bite-sized Parmigiana di Melanzane Croccante (Crunchy Aubergine Parmagiana) and Polpettine di Manzo con Funghi Misti, a rich dish of beef meatballs with mixed mushrooms, transporting diners to the comfort of Nonna’s kitchen.
Elsewhere on the menu, guests can expect an earthy Risotto ai Funghi that encapsulates the Autumn and Northern Italy with each bite and IT London’s signature Spaghetto ai Pomodori; a traditional plate of beautiful simplicity featuring a sauce created from 4 different types of tomato and by just as many different preparation techniques to maximise the flavour.
As thoughts turn to dessert, the coffee-spiked Tiramisù, one of the most iconic Italian dishes in the world, provides the perfect final sweet note.
All the dishes are perfectly paired with a carefully curated wine list, honouring both bold Italian wines and those from further afield, expertly chosen by their head sommelier.
Offering something for oenophiles and cocktail-lovers alike, IT London’s talented bar team shake and stirs the classics alongside their unique creations, such as the Parma Tiny (Parmesan-infused Absolut Elyx, Drambuie, black walnut bitters, apple juice, honey water & Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut) Pesto Fino (Basil-infused Beefeater, limoncello, lemon, chilly, gomme) and playful Gondolino, with Nonino Grappa di Moscato, Aperol, lemon juice, egg white and a popping candy rim.
