Following its knockout debut festival last year, The Wine Gang is returning to Leeds on Saturday 18 November with a wine festival that once again promises festive highlights galore.
The Wine Gang hosts a series of Winter Festivals, Leeds is the last in the 2017 calendar and follows previous festivals in Bath, Birmingham and London
The Leeds event will be co-hosted by four of the UK’s best-known wine critics. The Wine Gang is Jane Parkinson of BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen, Anthony Rose of Decanter and The FT’s How To Spend It online, Joanna Simon of House & Garden and TV’s Tried & Tested, and The Observer’s David Williams.
The list of wines on show reads like a Who’s Who of what to try and buy for the festive season ahead from a range of wine merchants, including the award-winning The Wine Society, stylish department store Harvey Nichols, high street favourites Waitrose and Majestic Wine and many, many more.
With hundreds of wines to choose from, The Wine Gang will be on hand to answer questions and guide guests through the myriad of wines at the swanky city centre venue Aspire.
And the fun doesn’t end there, the event also includes free wine walks hosted by each Wine Gang member as well as the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win dinner for two at Harvey Nichols’ restaurant.
Finally, lucky visitors can also take part in a sensational masterclass A Focus on Burgundy, with wine supplied by esteemed Burgundy specialist, the award-winning Stannary St. Wine Co. Tickets are £25.00.
