The luxurious Lexus LC 500h, the good, the great and the glamorous all on show at Salon Privé 2016.
Salon Privé is the UK’s most exclusive automotive garden party as well as being one of the most glamorous social occasions on the calendar. Motor vehicle excellence, style and elegance all come together effortlessly against the spectacular backdrop of the sensational Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
Now in its 11th year, Salon Privé 2016 took place between 1st – 3rd September and has grown to become an internationally recognised Supercar Event and Concours d’Elegance, regularly attracting visitors, exhibitors, owners and collectors from around the globe.
The three-day car extravaganza commenced with the famous Chubb Insurance Concours d’Élégance Judging Day on Thursday 1st September. The celebrations continued with the Boodles Ladies’ Day on Friday 2nd September along with the Salon Privé Sale, before the top-speed Salon Privé Supercar Show finale on Saturday 3rd September.
Last year a staggering 11,000 visitors over the three-day duration of the event witnessed and experienced the beauty, sophistication and luxury that has become so familiar with this unique event and similar visitor numbers if not more were expected this year too.
I was a VIP guest of Lexus and I was looking forward to learning more about the GS F, RC F range and also getting up close and personal with the LC 500h which was exclusively being showcased at Salon Privé ahead of its launch in 2017. On entering the event I could feel the excitement growing quickly among the visitors and it is no surprise that Salon Privé has firmly cemented its position on the luxury and motorcar show diary.
Salon Privé has become a destination to which like-minded friends and enthusiasts gather together to indulge in their shared passion of affluence and the love of all types of motor vehicles on show.
Guests get unrivalled access to some of the most exclusive modern and classic automobiles, as well as the very latest models presented by leading marques such as Abarth, Ferrari, Jaguar Land Rover, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini and of course, Lexus to name but a few.
There’s also the crowning of the finest classic cars and a celebration of high-fashion at the event too. The majority of exhibitors also offer test drives and demonstrations and it’s the only event of its kind in the UK where visitors can see a car, test drive it and ultimately, buy it all within the same day.
