Made in Chelsea Stars Louise and Sam Thompson help support the Wonderful Christmas Toy Party in aid of the Brompton Fountain
Made In Chelsea siblings Louise and Sam Thompson joined together at the annual Wonderful Christmas toy party with a variety of corporate organisations and local community leaders to help raise awareness and collect brand new boxed toys in aid of the Brompton Fountain, a charity that helps support children and their families from severe life threatening heart and lung conditions under the care at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust.
The exquisite and newly refurbished Crowne Plaza London Kensington hosted the annual Christmas charity toy party and ensured guests had a superb time.
Guests were treated to a variety of appetizing canapes such as turkey and cranberry on crostini, chicken satay, goat cheese and sunblush tomato and smoked salmon with chive cream. Mouth watering desserts and festive mince pies were also served and all washed down with a constant flow of wine, beer and fruit juices.
The aim of the annual toy party event was to help raise awareness for the Brompton Fountain current Toy Appeal and to collect as many brand new boxed toys as possible to donate to the children’s Rose Ward at The Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust in London and the toy party manage to do just that from the incredible amount of toys that were received during the evening.
Edward Bracken – General Manager at the Crowne Plaza London Kensington says; “We were so pleased to host the Wonderful Christmas toy party again this year and the amount of toys collected was simply staggering”. “We are delighted to support the Brompton Fountain which is a very important and worthy cause”.
Trudy Nickels – Director at the Brompton Fountain says; ” The Wonderful Christmas toy party was absolutely brilliant and has helped us to collect so many toys this Christmas for so many children who will unfortunately, be spending Christmas in hospital during the festive season.” These toys will bring many smiles to many faces this Christmas and we are so grateful for all the support we continue to receive.”
Louise and Sam Thompson donated a number of toys and games to the Wonderful Christmas toy party and happily mingled amongst guests, talking and taking photos with them too. They even took the excitement levels to fever pitch as they both drew the much-anticipated prize raffle draw during the evening which saw guests win the following amazing prizes;
- 1-night stay at the Crowne Plaza London Kensington plus dinner and breakfast at pan-Asian restaurant Umami London.
- Dinner for two at pan-Asian restaurant Umami London.
