Whichever Hôtel Barrière hotel you visit during winter, it’s a given that you won’t be disappointed. For this feature, we look at Loulou, the most elegant of Parisian restaurants, which will be making its presence felt in Courchevel at the Palace Barrière Les Neiges, enhancing what is already the most dreamy of destinations, where every winter promises to be magical.
Loulou will turn on the charm at an elevated height by bringing her renowned character infused with mountain flair and the same generous, elegant, and joyful spirit. From December 6th 2024, she will unveil her unique way of entertaining in France’s most iconic ski resort, Courchevel 1850, a village where eternal sophistication goes hand in hand with the beauty and delights of the great outdoors.
Nestling behind a vast curtain and extending over two floors, Loulou Courchevel offers a unique experience where Alpine traditions meet influences from around the world.
The person entrusted to create its welcoming ambience was interior architect Corinne Sachot. Her extraordinary eye for detail was instrumental in LouLou’s beautiful woodwork and the decor that celebrates the Savoyard culture. LouLou’s curved seats with rounded backrests invite guests to kick back and relax, with the only quandary being choosing what to pick from the menu’s culinary delights.
This idyllic mountain venue offers beautiful views over the snow-covered Bellecôte run…
Outside, the vast sun-drenched terrace beckons as it becomes a vibrant venue over the day, with its selection of cocktails and DJ beats.
With its playful charm, Loulou is adept at switching things up. Whilst the mountain atmosphere awakens childhood memories of first ski trips, Loulou also invites you on a journey to discover the Rocky Mountains.
The cuisine of neighbouring Italy is also featured on the menu.
Loulou’s classics, including truffle pizza and pasta al pomodoro, are showcased alongside Piedmont specialities to indulge in on your own or share. The perfect way to prepare the palate for the delicious dessert buffet, with plenty to delight children and adults alike…
Loulou Courchevel offers a lively atmosphere throughout the day, with the comfortable settings of the bar and lounge open from breakfast to late into the night for both hotel guests and non-residents.
Guests will love the warm and inviting atmosphere of the Palace Barrière Les Neiges, with its ski-in/ski-out access to the world’s largest ski area. Featuring 42 rooms and suites that blend contemporary style with authentic Savoyard charm, Les Neiges offers an experience where every detail has been thoughtfully designed on a delightfully human scale.
