Christmas may have come and long gone and another family and friend gathering may seem like a long way. But why wait? With Easter just around the corner and Dewsall Court opening its doors to gatherings all year around, it’s a perfect dwelling to use as an excuse to get together.

Once a loving and cherished home belonging to the Robinson family, Dewsall is a grade 2 listed property which has been fully refurbished without losing its luxurious country living charm. The stylish 10 bedrooms, all with their own feature bathrooms and a number of rooms with open fireplaces, ooze every bit of the cosy feeling of living in the countryside. The house itself is secluded at the end of a country lane surrounded by miles and miles of bridleways. It’s just as intimate for a family of four as it is for up to 23 people staying overnight.

Dewsall is available for both serviced or unserviced exclusive use. Great for those who want to feel right at home in this luxury space as well as those who want to be waited hand on foot like a lady or lord of the manor. The in-house chef will cook using local produce right in front of you. And if you really want to get involved, you can even go along to one of their organised guided walks on a foraging mission. Guests can arrange massages, have their shopping done upon arrival and pretty much have any requests adhered to, in order to make their stay as comfortable as possible.

The bedrooms are all unique in character with bathrooms to match. Most of them have high heavily beamed ceilings and incredibly spacious. We stayed in the Granary Room, a king size suite. A voile attached to the beams around the parameter of the bed, it gave it the poster bed feeling fit for any princess to lie down on it! The amazing mural in the bathroom can be fully admired by taking a good long soak in the bath.

The Dewsall suite is the biggest with three separate rooms. The main room houses the emperor size bed, the bathroom with a large antique stone bath and a separate walk in shower and a further private sitting room which can be turned into a bedroom. Views from the entire house are just mesmerising. Each window will have you jaw-droppingly taking in either the black mountains, the court, Duchy farmland or the church.

Supper Clubs have also proved extremely popular at this magical setting over the last year. Showcasing different top chefs, diners can indulge in this new concept in hospitality. A huge dining table seating over 20, different people are brought together in an intimate gathering to sample the mouth-watering local produce dishes prepared right before them. With its stylish elegance yet relaxed atmosphere, this dining room experience can’t be found in a restaurant.

And a celebration house like this would not be complete without being used as a wedding venue. Dewsall has hosted many wedding and has made a number of brides and bridegrooms even happier on their happiest day of their lives. The ancient church is just a short walk away through the gardens where blessings and marriages can take place. A proper little private wedding hideaway!

The seclusion of Dewsall Court isn’t limited to life’s little pleasures. It can be hired for corporate events including conferences, business meetings or launches. There’s certainly plenty of inspiration to be taken from the thousands of acres of lush greenery in the Herefordshire countryside.

So whatever the occasion – business or pleasure – you can have it tailored specifically to your needs to the minute little detail. You can be sure that you’ll get the chance to relax and unwind in quintessentially British style in the wonderful setting of Dewsall.
