Released this summer, Vinyle, the first 33-speed vinyl album produced by Mademoiselle Gray, is continuing to go from strength to strength! Having graced the DJ’s turntable at the Hôtel Barrière Le Gray d’Albion Cannes’s private beach, the album is now embracing the digital world.
Unlike the cicada in La Fontaine’s fable, Mademoiselle Gray is looking ahead to the winter months and is fully prepared! Having danced the summer away to the swing, Latin and electro tracks on Vinyle, its first album, the private beach at the Hôtel Barrière Le Gray d’Albion, continues its bohemian quest this autumn via the internet and music streaming.
From now, Mademoiselle Gray, Plage Barrière Cannes Vol.1 (the digital version of Vinyle) is available on all social media outlets (Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook etc.), as well as on YouTube and other main streaming platforms such as Deezer, Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple Music, from where you’ll be able to download the album’s ten tracks.
The album includes covers of both recent and vintage hits, including Be Mine, a retro-style song featuring the earthy vocals of Manon Ribard, and La Plage Mademoiselle Gray, a superb electro hit by the chic and charming duo of Marian Rain and Kate Yvorra.
Maybe you were among the crowds at the Croisette beach this summer enjoying the subtle Flamenco vibe of the cover version of Clara Luciani’s hit La Grenade? Or perhaps you danced the night away to the electro-inspired cover of Vanessa Paradis’ Tandem or revelled in the sound of Clémentine Gillot’s glamorous version of Ma Benz by NTM? Now, if you’re at home, driving around or out for the evening, you can listen to these tracks whenever you want and bring back those summer holiday memories.
If you’re looking for a burst of sunshine as the dark December nights approach or want some music to remind you of the long, hot summer days and bring a breath of sea air to your home on a wintry Sunday morning, just switch on your phone, open your favourite music app and allow yourself to be transported back to the heady days of summer with tracks such as Get Lucky, J’Aime Les Filles, Facile and Caroline. The perfect antidote to those winter blues!
