Sweeties, The Standard, London’s chic cocktail bar and late-night lounge, is bringing back ‘Magic and Martinis’ in partnership with Belvedere on Thursday, January 30th, with Troy the Magician performing his tricks for guests as they sip on a selection of freshly shaken martinis, and make their way to the dance floor with Abigurl and Martelo DJ on the decks.
Sweeties, the chic cocktail bar and late-night lounge at The Standard, London, will host the return of Magic & Martinis on Thursday, January 30th, in partnership with Belvedere. The event will feature a special 2-4-1 martini offer alongside a selection of Sweeties’ signature cocktails.
Troy The Magician (lead image), an award-winning close-up magician, will perform his captivating tricks from 6:30 pm, adding a touch of magic to the evening, while DJs Abigurl and Martelo will provide the soundtrack, with Abigurl playing from 6:30 pm and Martelo taking over from 8:30 pm to keep the dance floor alive.
This edition of Magic & Martinis will also introduce new Sweeties cocktails made with Belvedere Vodka, including the Extra Dirty Martini, offering a unique twist on everyone’s favourite cocktail, Rock Steady, a rebalanced Negroni twist made with scotch, apricot, sweet vermouth, and Vault bitters, and; the Power Play, a fresh take on the Dirty Martini made with vodka, dry vermouth, and homemade pickle brine.
Guests can take The Standard’s iconic red pill lift straight up to the 10th floor for an evening of magic, music and glorious misbehaviour against Sweeties’ unforgettable backdrop with floor-to-ceiling views over London’s iconic skyline.
