Maserati and leading polo brand La Martina, have collaborated on a one-off, hand-made, luxury polo saddle in celebration of Maserati’s Centennial Polo Tour.
Using the finest quality, carefully-selected full-grain leather and suede, the saddle was created in Argentina by La Martina’s expert craftsman. The blue, black and silver colour scheme is inspired by Maserati’s luxurious road cars, including the new premium executive Ghibli saloon. The navy blue suede seat contrasts against the black suede skirt and black full-grain leather flaps, which bear the Maserati Centenary and La Martina brands, embossed in stylish silver leaf. The saddle sits smartly on a custom saddle pad, also bearing the iconic Maserati trident and nameplate.
Befitting the high performance cars from which it draws inspiration, La Martina’s cutting-edge and premium saddle design provides the rider with maximum comfort, stability and control, ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride in a fast-paced polo match. The saddle was created in celebration of the Maserati Centennial Polo Tour which comes to the UK on 15 June at the Jerudong Park Trophy at Cirencester Park Polo Club, where the saddle will be displayed.
Cirencester Park Polo Club is one of the UK’s oldest and most esteemed polo clubs and has played host to many high profile polo players including HRH Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry who take part in the coveted match each year in aid of their charities. The Maserati Centennial Polo Tour, which takes in some of the world’s most prestigious tournaments, is one of several high profile celebrations marking 100 years of the iconic Italian brand.
