Turkish hospitality brand Maxx Royal Resorts has announced the Maxx Royal Bodrum is all set to launch in late spring 2024. The luxury property in Göltürkbükü will be the brand’s third property, joining Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort and Maxx Royal Kemer Resort in Antalya.
Maxx Royal Bodrum will be located on a private peninsula in Göltürkbükü in Turkey, framed by fragrant pine forests and the sparkling waters of the Aegean Sea. It will be a Grand Boutique-style property based on a Bed and Breakfast model and will undoubtedly enhance Bodrum’s vibrant beach scene.
Accommodation and Design
Designed by leading Turkish architect Mahmut Anlar to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings and beautifully landscaped gardens, the 11.4-hectare Maxx Royal Bodrum resort will offer various accommodation options, including multiple suites and villas.
Inspired by Bodrum’s vibrant identity, interior designers Geo_ID will use a serene and natural colour palate throughout, incorporating interesting architectural details and patterns across the property. Rooms and public areas will feature local artisan-crafted ceramics and artworks.
The 1063 sqm standout Presidential Villas (main image) will comprise five bedrooms, heated seawater pools, steam rooms, saunas, fitness centres, and more.
On arrival, guests will be greeted by an impactful installation created exclusively for the hotel’s lobby by the acclaimed Turkish-American artist Refik Anadol.
Sustainability
The Maxx Royal Bodrum has been designed with sustainability at its heart as per the LEED Gold standards established by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), aiming to achieve more than 24 per cent energy savings in building consumption and over 45 per cent reduction in indoor water usage.
The extensive landscaped gardens feature many indigenous plants and trees from all over Turkey and species from further afield, including mushroom oaks, ironwood, stone pines and Chinese wisteria.
Culinary Credentials
Guests can look forward to an epicurean adventure discovering the resort’s seven restaurants, all with a farm-to-table ethos and menus showcasing the finest local and seasonal produce.
Culinary highlights include outposts of the iconic Caviar Kaspia and BeefBar, as well as an Italian concept restaurant overseen by the internationally acclaimed chef Alfredo Russo, which will feature contemporary Italian dishes.
An array of authentic local Turkish specialities will take centre stage in the property’s Twenty 4 restaurant, alongside other international favourites, as well as sweet treats ‘a plenty’ available from the In-house Chocolatier and Ice Cream Parlour, serving mouthwatering home-made delights.
The eight stylish bars dotted around the resort will offer creative cocktails and mocktails, refreshing juices and health-boosting smoothies.

As it’s all about balance these days, wellness will be a key focus with a flagship 4,500sqm Maxx WellBeing Spa, comprising 20 treatment rooms, offering an extensive menu of holistic and science-based treatments including Balneotherapy, flotation experiences including Nuvola massage and beauty-focused treatments.
Housed within the well-being space will also be a dedicated Medi-Spa area with nine high-tech specialist treatment rooms focusing on non-invasive anti-ageing experiences such as an Ozone Sauna, a Sensory Deprivation Tank and Platelet-rich Plasma Injections (PRP).
Guests will be able to relax in the spa’s extensive hydro and thermal area incorporating a herbal sauna and herbal essence steam room, infrared sauna, salt room, rain room, Kneippe Walk, a Hammam with dedicated Hammam treatment rooms and Tepidarium relaxation area.
A 335 sqm state-of-the-art fitness studio will feature a comprehensive range of Technogym cardiovascular and strength training equipment with expert instructors to provide one-to-one training. An extensive roster of group classes will be available, including reformer Pilates, yoga including aerial yoga, functional strength, breathwork and sound healing, spinning and more. There will also be an Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool for guests to enjoy and unwind.
In addition, there will also be a comprehensive visiting practitioner and retreat programme ranging from three to twenty-one days based on the Maxx Royal 6 Elements of Well-being programmes, combining traditional anti-ageing protocols with holistic healing rituals.
As nutrition is a core element of well-being, there will also be a signature Maxx Well-being restaurant serving delicious, nourishing dishes, smoothies and health shots, all designed to boost well-being and immunity and support those guests following specific dietary plans. For those wishing to expand their repertoire of healthy recipes, there will also be a dedicated area for cooking classes.
Scorpios Beach Club
Maxx Royal Bodrum has partnered with Scorpios, the renowned creative beach concept first conceived on the Greek island of Mykonos in 2014. Scorpios will welcome guests outside Greece for the first time, on the peninsula right next to Maxx Royal Bodrum.
Here, guests are immersed in a world of cross-cultural experimentation in music and art together with a wellbeing programme informed by ancient wisdom and the latest in modern scientific research, all inside the dedicated Ritual Space.
Alongside this, Eastern Mediterranean cuisine will put nourishment and togetherness centre stage. Scorpios Bodrum also marks the brand’s first 24-hour offering, with exclusive accommodation encouraging guests to make the most of the beautiful Bodrum sunrise.

Younger guests can look forward to an adventure of their own in the huge Maxxi Land Children’s Club, which is set to be the largest space of its kind in Bodrum. This sparkling new Kid’s Club with dedicated age-appropriate areas will cater to children from one through to teens.
