McLaren introduces a four-piece collection designed exclusively for the McLaren GT consisting of a garment case, weekend bag, cabin bag, full-size golf club bag.
If you’re one of the fortunate few to own a £163,000+ McLaren GT, you’ll probably not skip a beat at the thought of some extra expenditure. So, what do a few thousand pounds or £11,350 to be precise, buy you from one of the world’s foremost supercar manufacturers? It buys you four pieces of luggage to match your supercar!
Developed by McLaren Automotive’s design and engineering teams and Italian luggage specialist, the set makes good use of the McLaren GT’s relatively generous luggage space and even includes made-to-measure storage solutions for golf clubs.
Each bag in the collection is hand-assembled by specialists in Italy, using the same luxury, soft and supple semi-aniline leather and stitch pattern inside the McLaren GT. The set is available in three colours: Pioneer Black, Luxe Black and Luxe Porcelain. Stitching and piping colourways have been selected to match the GT’s two specification levels (Pioneer and Luxe), the GT launch colours of Namaka Blue, Burnished Copper and Veridian Green, in addition to the other colour specification options for the GT.
The luggage set was shown during Monterey Car Week, alongside a special McLaren GT by MSO that debuted on the Concept Car Lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, August 18th. Designed to showcase the personalization options available through MSO for the McLaren GT, this example features an MSO Defined Flux Silver exterior paint colour, with MSO Bespoke Satin Graphite exterior paint applied to the door skits, front splitter, wing mirrors, rear bumper and rear diffuser. The interior features striking MSO Bespoke Goeform Stitching throughout, elevating the cabin to further levels of luxury and sophistication.
