SICIS, the Italian mosaic manufacturer has just opened a showroom, in Beijing, China.
The Italian maison is delighted to announce an agreement signed with the distributor for the market in Beijing, Di Lusso Gaopin (Beijing) Design Co. Ltd.
The showroom, situated on the third floor of a building in the heart of Beijing, extends over a 600 sqm single-level area. Its rooms will present the magical universe of mosaic art as interpreted by one of the world leading manufacturers, Sicis, and the most sophisticated design works. The interior design of this project has been entirely realized by Sicis in partnership with Studio Marco Piva.
The showroom is split into two areas. The first recreates the noble and refined mood of an elegant home, with marble floors, delicate floral mosaics on the walls, and Sicis Next Art furnishings. Sculptured chairs, enriched with inlaid mosaics, add colour and light to the environment, and alternate with brand new furnishings, skilfully matched with mirrors, tables and lamps.
The second exhibition area is made up of libraries of mosaics in marble, glass and other materials, elegantly displayed to meet the most demanding needs of architects, designers and private customers.
An elegant mosaic floor depicting a large dragon on a background of red, black and gold, purposely designed for the Beijing concept store, pays tribute to Chinese culture and celebrates the union between Italian mosaics and Chinese decorative art. The space also features a series of mosaic surfaces embellished by gold details, iridescent geometric designs and oriental fans.
