The Dune Jet-Setter collection includes a two-wheel carry-on suitcase, duffle bag, and business luxury backpack, with a four-wheel carry-on suitcase, bags and other accessories to follow later this year. Each set is engineered in Silicon Valley and hand-crafted in Italy in collaboration with one of the country’s legendary manufacturing houses – Leu Locati.
“I always envision and shape my collections to be utilitarian in their nature and design them for individuals who are brave, daring, virtuous and confident,” says Paltachev, who was raised in both St. Petersburg and the United States.
“We create ready-to-wear and accessory collections that reflect Silicon Valley’s signature casual dress, yet stand out with their superior quality and elegant detailing. The goal is to combine elegance, comfort, and performance to meet the demands of a discerning, self-made men and women with a modern nomadic spirit.”
Available in three colourways: black, sand brown and red, each piece of luggage is made from scratch-resistant premium leather designed for all-weather use, with silent-movement wheels. A unique front compartment design provides effortless access to electronic devices during security check or during flight.
The collection will be made available at a series of special events in San Francisco, New York, London, Milan and Hong Kong to be held in collaboration with select Soul of Nomad partners. For those unable to attend, a limited number of pieces will be available directly through the company through special deposit application, with a strict order limit of one collection per customer.
The Soul of Nomad Fall / Winter 2017 Denim Collection is also highly anticipated and will continue to feature Italian rose gold zippers and hardware, the design house’s signature wolfpack print and the highest quality Italian and Japanese denim will be handcrafted both in Italy and the United States.
