nhow London, the lifestyle hotel in the heart of East London, is gearing up for the King’s Coronation with discounted restaurant and bar menus, a new cocktail served exclusively over the celebratory weekend and a pawfect afternoon tea menu for dogs.
The upper-upscale hotel on City Road, on the fringe of Shoreditch, is living up to its design concept of London Reloaded by offering its own unconventional take on British classics for the royal celebration.
Mixologist James King has crafted The Royal Highlander. This sophisticated and elegant cocktail combines King Charles III’s favourite tastes, Martini and whisky, plus orange bitters and garnish to create a refined after-dinner drink that will only be available across the Coronation Bank Holiday.
Guests who bring their dogs to the capital’s party can choose a pet-friendly room with a dog bed, food and water bowls, plus a £25 afternoon tea menu designed exclusively for pooches and their paw-rents, featuring homemade cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, peanut butter bites and a puppuccino for hungry hounds, with tea, coffee and a selection of sweet treats for canine companions.
Room prices start from £200 per night over the Coronation weekend, with all guests receiving a 15% discount on bar and restaurant services for the period. Book at https://www.nhow-hotels.com/en/nhow-london.
Sheila Azimian, nhow London’s General Manager, said, “The Coronation Bank Holiday is going to showcase the best of Britain to the world, so we wanted to put our own spin on British classics with a unique cocktail and afternoon light bites. We’re looking forward to welcoming guests from the UK and across the world who are visiting the capital to join in the once-in-a-generation celebrations.”
Opened in January 2020, nhow London has 190 rooms and is conveniently positioned in the heart of East London, between the City, Islington and Shoreditch, and just a ten-minute walk from Old Street station.
Embedded amongst some of London’s trendiest neighbourhoods, nhow London embodies the concept “London Reloaded” and plays with the contrasts between tradition and innovation, featuring bold and fresh design ideas throughout, with inspiration taken from British icons such as the Royal Family and London landmarks.
This contemporary take includes a Big Ben rocket sculpture in the lobby and unconventional images of past monarchs in the bedrooms.
The hotel is one of the many iconic properties that form part of the NH Hotel Group’s ‘disruptive’ nhow hotel brand.
