One&Only Kéa Island, the recently opened all-villa resort on the hidden Cycladic island of Kéa, has launched two new transformative retreats in partnership with Subtle Energies, an award-winning aromatherapy wellness brand.
The resort’s new ‘ReSet’ and ‘ReEnergise’ programs, created in partnership with Subtle Energies, are designed to physically, mentally, and emotionally restore the body. Each is an immersive journey that lasts three or five days. Both programmes are exclusive to One&Only Kéa Island and contain wellness experiences and tailored fitness activities.
All Subtle Energies signature treatments meld ancient healing practices with potent natural ingredients and modern techniques.
Along with advanced holistic massages and comprehensive wellness programmes, every treatment draws on holistic wellness principles and results-based aromatherapy backed by 30 years of clinical research, leaving guests feeling revitalised, rejuvenated, and renewed on all levels.
The ReSet programme focuses on restoring balance, easing anxiety, and resetting circadian rhythms to balance the mind, body, and emotions. Specialised breathwork and meditation sessions will calm the mind, while sleep-supporting techniques will work on hormonal balance and bring the body into a state of rest, relaxation, and repair.
Additional activities include Aquatic therapy in our Watsu pool, toning Pilates sessions, and sunset yoga in the resort’s pavilion overlooking the Aegean.
The ReEnergise programme aims to detoxify, strengthen muscles and joints, combat adrenal fatigue, and support a healthy immune system; it combines ancient and modern therapies with invigorating fitness experiences in the resort’s natural landscape.
Fitness offerings include one-to-one personal training sessions, open-air Peloton spin classes, paddle boarding or kayaking in the clear azure waters surrounding the island, alfresco HIIT workouts and boxing.
Spa treatments and journeys included within the programmes will feature signature experiences such as Muscle De-Stress Poultice Massage, which is specific to addressing the periphery limbs, or the Detox and Rest Programme, which focuses on renewing the body with exfoliation and specialised muds together with targeted massage. All of these will assist in reducing fluid retention, supporting lymphatic flow, and kick-starting the adrenals.
The Sleep Support Therapy features extensive marma work – a traditional Ayurvedic technique that involves applying gentle pressure to stimulate energy and promote muscle and tissue healing – and activation of the pineal and pituitary glands, together with Elysian Restoration Journey that uses the same marma massage and advanced holistic techniques with biotechnology and holistic skin science that will work on empowering oneself through beauty. The treatment includes a signature facial marma massage to release anxiety and stress while awakening the heart.
The waterfront spa is home to hot and cold therapy pools, saunas, steam rooms, and an indoor-outdoor pool with uninterrupted sea views. The 1,700 sqm spa offers six treatment rooms (two couples and four single cabins).
Subtle Energies has crafted a range of treatments, facials, body wraps, massages and beauty rituals exclusively for the resort.
The ultra-luxury resort, a 45-minute speedboat ride from Athens, offers class-leading accommodation. Each of the standalone 63 villas is maximised for privacy and panoramic views over the sea.
Free-flowing indoor and outdoor spaces, high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and open archways capture a bright and open feel within the villas, and private infinity pools and sunken daybeds allow for true relaxation in a tranquil environment.
Elsewhere in the resort, the region’s rich culinary produce is showcased across six unique drinking and dining outlets, including elevated Greek flavours at restaurant Atria, relaxed dining at pool bar Kaiki, Èpicora, a sophisticated wine bar, fluid Kosmos lobby lounge, and unique bar concepts – Bond Beach Club’s day-to-night destination, and Incognito, a Cuban inspired speakeasy.
