Overfinch, the leading British design house, has unveiled the world’s most luxurious SUV, the 2014 Overfinch Range Rover. On-road presence coupled with bespoke interior craftsmanship are the cornerstones of a such a conversion.
The result is a distinctive, elegant interpretation of Land Rover’s flagship model, that is as exclusive as it is desirable, with production limited to just 100 units every year in the UK. Overfinch’s exterior concept retains the sophistication and elegance of the original car while refined proportions reinforce its dynamic presence.
Sculpted, light-catching surfaces have been designed to specifically accentuate the car’s most prominent characteristics. Bodywork is manufactured in hand-laid carbon fibre to add stiffness and remain in keeping with the Range Rover’s new weight-saving ethos. Complementary carbon weaves have been chosen for their visual or structural quality. The exterior styling package allows for different carbon fibre and paint finishes to create an individual but cohesive appearance.
The distinctive face of the car features Overfinch’s trademark three cooling apertures within the front bumper which increase airflow and integrate technical aspects such as parking sensors and cameras. Lacquered carbon fibre has been applied inside each aperture to showcase the natural beauty of the material and provide additional finesse. Side apertures subtly house LED driving lights to complete the distinctive front end.
At the rear of the car, the Overfinch design language has been carried though the stunning model to create a more sporting and scultpted appearance. The roof spoiler mirrors the lower bumper graphic, with exposed carbon fibre in both sections. Cast tailpipes by Overfinch complete the integrated appearance.
The ride is further enhanced by a range of bespoke 22 or 23-inch Overfinch wheels. Zeus, Osprey and Xenon designs are available, all with a choice of colour and diamond-turned finishes to suit personal choice. The range of wheels offer the multi-spoked sophistication of the Zeus through to the more sporting appearance afforded by the directional Xenon wheel. Overfinch lettering on the bonnet and tailgate complete the conversion signature.
On the inside, Overfinch offers its customary, myriad range of leather and veneer options for the customer to create a truly bespoke interior. Two seat designs can be specified: Solitaire and Mercury. Solitaire is a modern interpretation of the classic diamond stitch incorporating Overfinch’s proprietary, perforated leather, whilst Mercury is a contemporary, sporting seat style that features contrast stitching and micro-piping accents to create a truly standout design. Both use Bridge of Weir premium leather chosen for its quality and beauty.
Exclusive Overfinch veneers are individually selected and hand-finished. They are married to complementary leather colour schemes to create a personalised cabin ambience. Each veneer is carefully selected for its visual quality and mirror-matched across each car, making every set unique.
