Overfinch, the world’s leading authority in high performance derivatives of Range Rover models, has unveiled its most powerful Range Rover Sport to date, named the Sport GTS-X.
The GTS-X’s performance is further boosted by its reinforced, forged Overfinch’s 22” Titan designed alloy wheels, upgraded 380mm drilled and vented brake discs (six pot front and four pot rear), and branded calipers designed in association with Brembo which provide sensationally strong stopping power. Overfinch’s signature styling is evident across the GTS-X. On the exterior, the 2012 season body styling package sees sculptured colour-coded side panels, vents and door handles with a gloss black mouthpiece incorporating daytime running lights. Overfinch’s new two-tone moniker lettering adorns the bonnet and tailgate, while under the bonnet, a special Overfinch engine cover adds theatre to the 5-litre supercharged block.
The high quality full nappa leather interior sees contrast copper orange stitching across the cabin’s predominant features including the seats (redesigned by Overfinch), headlining, boot door, door cards and pillars, as well as the carpet mats and dashboard.
The black instrument dials are beautifully designed and brought to life with a tasteful injection of copper orange to the rev counter and speedometer. The cockpit equally houses a GT steering wheel, carbon fibre gearshift paddles, and a metal Overfinch badge. Carbon door inlay tread plates and a 15-piece carbon veneer pack are decorated with GTS-X branding to complete the sports performance feel.
Overfinch Chairman, Kevin Sloane, said: “The GTS-X is a performance-orientated vehicle with an upgraded engine and incredible agility making it our most powerful Sport model to date but one that retains the high quality finish that has become the Overfinch hallmark. When developing a vehicle of this kind there is a danger of becoming obsessed with increasing power and sacrificing other key attributes, but one of the GTS-X’s strengths is its balance.
There is equilibrium between the power, styling, comfort and usability, in keeping with our principle of sympathetically enhancing Range Rovers. It remains unmistakably an Overfinch – refined luxury and, as a limited edition vehicle, highly exclusive.”
