So here we are, the end of our visit to Pangkor Laut Resort and the chance to reflect on a memorable experience that was soothing, invigorating, relaxing and fun.

One of the areas that Pangkor Laut excels is making the guests feel important. Having been to many high-quality resorts, we’ve the benefit of cumulative experience and in the majority of places we have visited familiarity starts to set in and staff adopt the ‘They know where everything is” attitude. This was never the case during our stay at Pangkor Laut Resort, every day we felt important and were looked after.

We talked to many guests during our time at the resort to garner independent experiences, words such as ‘Magical’, ‘Amazing’ and ‘Stunning’ were the most common words used to describe how guests felt about Pangkor Laut Resort.

For us, Pangkor Laut Resort has pretty much got it right, so taking the above in mind we have tried to sum up our experience in a couple of sentences:

“Pangkor Laut Resort, without any reservations is the finest beach resort we have visited in Malaysia and we have no doubt that it justifies its reputation as Malaysia’s best.” Paul Godbold
